This action by our humble President will gradually reduce the gap between the rich and the poor and within a short frame of time bring back the middle class that was no longer existing in Nigeria.
In the Nigeria it is either you are rich and corrupt to be able to live in luxury or you are living from hand to mouth. Every family can afford to buy a car and clothe themselves until we are able to find a solution to produce made in Nigeria cars it will also help to generate income for the Nigeria economy people will no longer have the need to smuggle them through neighbouring countries.Mr President Thank you please look into the ban on frozen produce.You have done well Sir.

The lack of sincere visionary leadership religiously and politically is what has caused under development in Nigeria.Every body who gets the chance to become a leader politically and religiously in Nigeria will use that avenue to loot and steal money and most times invest the looted funds outside the country.It has become fashionable in Nigeria that you must steal money from the public treasure purse for A good today and A better tommorow.Our so called leaders and fathers steal public monies that would have been used for the development of the Country(Nigeria) it is no longer news that once you become a leader you/ your team and family must steal and loot as much as you can with the exception of the Buhari/Idiagbon era every other government has some corruption scandal and cases to answer.It is no longer news that the present lawmakers collect 25% of the National budget as their take home allowances in a country of 150 million persons who live with less than $1 a day.These so called leaders travel outside Nigeria every now and then to developed countries they see the way government is run with transperency and accountability they drive on good roads and stay in a good environment they travel with reliable public transports they have public running water,they call their families in Nigeria to tell them that this place ..fine o..they dont have touts that will disturb them neither do they have police that will delay them and collect bribes after intimidation and arrest they leave for the airport on their way back to Nigeria push their bags themselves, arrive back in Nigeria and begin to plan on the best way to steal money from Nigeria public treasury to bank abroad inside a Country where they and their generations will never be able to aspire to become even a mayor but what they refuse to understand is the monies that they stole and will steal from Nigeria that would have been used for the provision and development of basic infracstuctures in Nigeria is what these countries use to develop those places they travel to.

It is so shamefull and pathetic that a Government in power cannot do any thing about road rehabilitation and construction except to award contracts to their cronies and the monies disappearing into private accounts.
My condolences goes to the families that have lost someone in the accident that happened it is very sad indeed.
What is the big deal in providing axcessable road network for Nigerians to travel on they tell you they are carrying out feasibility study on how best to repair the road or they are waiting for the dry season to come for them to begin repairs and people are dying everyday while we are waiting.
In developed countries that experience different weathers contractors work all through the year even in the coldest winter when it is necesary for them to do so they dont wait for special seasons to carry out repairs and maintainance work Nigerian Engineers and Technicians have a lot to learn from them.
We refuse to allow genuine foreign construction companies to survive in Nigeria by delibrately preventing them from getting contracts to construct roads in Nigeria and the Government has some particular sets of contractors that they always award contracts to every time but the roads end up not constructed or done shabily.
The blood of every one who has died or maimed through accidents on Nigerian roads will be on the head of the person or people who is responsible to put the road right but refuse to even after collecting money for it.
My advice is that we should vote in the right team that will tackle corruption in Nigeria.
Life expectancy in Nigeria can best be compared with that of Iraq and Afghanistan or Pakistan because of the suicide bombings and the uncertainty about you getting to your desired destination in Nigeria.
Vote in the right man for President.
Vote in the right team into House of Reps.
Vote in the right Senators.
Vote in the right Governors.
I wonder why we have a FRSC if you do not have equipments for search and rescue purposes and if you cannot enforce speed regulations and limits.
It is also the duty of the FRSC to ensure that these roads are motorable and in good shape.

I have read most of the comments written and I think some of the writters dont understand the dynamics of politics and momentum of a revolution.
Buharis choice of Bakare as a running mate is a wise decision and a masterstroke to checkmate PDP rigging the 2011 elections in favour of PDP.
The both men were amongst the team that led protests in favour of President Jonathan during the period that Yaradua left the country without handing over to his vice President and the cabal held the whole country to ransom.
What makes the writers for those comments think that Buhari and Bakare(B²) will just fold their hands and watch the elections rigged in favour of the ruling party?
The revolution that began in Tunisia and spreading across the middle east started through just one man.

Sir I beg to defer from your opinoin that the Buhari/Idiagbon regime left the regime they overthrew worst than they met it.You may need to read more about the corruption that became the order of the day by politicians and political office holders from 1979 until when they were kicked out of office.If Babangida did not over throw the Buhari/Idiagbon regime we would have been amongst the 1st top 10 nations in the world.Pls be well informed about them.

It is very sad to hear that people sell adulterated kerosene all with the intention of making money and plenty of profits regardless of the danger to human lives I sympathise with the police man who lost his family and to those other victims.Does the NNPC not have a body that is responsible for checking and testing petroleum products before releasing it out for public use?The families of the victims should explore the posibility of taking the Minister of Petroleum and NNPC to court and sue for damages.The people who call themselves law makers will never enact laws that will protect the ordinary Nigerian they are only anxious about making laws to protect their selfish interest and what business do they have using kerosene to cook when their wives and girlfriends cook with electric cookers and microwave ovens.Nigerians should vote wisely do not be decieved or cajoled into voting for somebody out of sympathy or because of tribe and party Vote for people that have integrity and is ready to fight corruption which is directly eating deep into us daily.
If not for corruption and get rich quick syndrome how can heartless people adultrate kerosene with highly inflamable and volatile products just to make plenty of profits.
Corruption does not know tribe nor language.
I reserve my comment for the police and policeman I sympathise with him I wish that God will give him and the victims families the fortitude and strenght to cope with the loss.

A lot of writers have written about Pastor Tunde Bakare that it is spiritually not right for him to contest elections.
Let us look at Nigeria from a spiritual point of view.
President Goodluck Jonathan was not chosen by God to contest elections but to conduct a credible election for the redeemer of Nigeria to be elected and not selected and after some years when Nigeria has been put on the right track he will come back again as President and during this while he and the elected President will enjoy a very cordial relationship but that is no longer possible.
In the year 1977 Nigerian Government had so much money and didnt know what to do with it Obasanjo was the Head of State at that time they decided to host FESTAC 77 where a lot of demons and evil spirits entered Nigeria all in the name of black culture those spirits and demons stayed back after the festival.
During the civil war a lot of inocent blood was shed on both sides more especially on the side of the Biafrans where a lot of massacre took place.
It is not news that past Nigerian Heads of States and Presidents brought in spiritualists to perform sacrifices in ASO ROCK how are we sure that human sacrifice has not been done there and it is not also news that a former president was accused by the son of sleeping with his wife these are all abomination to GOD Almighty.
It will require a Genuine Man of GOD and Leader to purge us from our sins and cry to GOD for GOD to restore to us our lost Glory.
For people who do not know the meaning of Levite and kingship.
The Levites are priests in the Bible who are dedicated to serve God in the Temple and to give his people direction.
The Kings are men chosen by GOD to lead his people and to give them a sense of direction and when Jesus Christ came there was no more need for Levite Priest hood after the curtain in the Temple was torn into 2.

It is extreme wickedness for people to capitalize on a persons weakness and take the advantage to blackmail or hold the person to ransom.
I dont know how people can be so mean as to publish nude fotos of a female contestant and distribute them to Mosques in Kwara State I think those who intends to do that are people who lack ideas and morality to govern the State.
If indeed the lady took such fotos am sure it was taken by her partner during a relationship that went sour later not in a bar or strip tease club.
The Sarakis are rich enough for their kids not to work in such places.
As for the man/group who surgested using such tactics for campaigning it shows you have little brain.
For Gbemisola I wish you well on your desire in future be careful about the type of men you hang out with.

I dont think President Jonathan aired by unbaning the importation of the items into Nigeria.
Lets be reasonable if the same goods can be smuggled into Nigeria from nearby countries and sold openly in Nigeria to the benefit of the smugglers,sellers,country of import and some custom officers who play a role for the goods to be smuggled into the country.
Theres no doubt that some nearby States close to the smugglers route has been benefitting from the trade.
What stops the textile industry from competing side by side with imported clothings after all President Jonathan has realeased funds for them to operate with.
The fact that Governor Fashola having axcess to State funds to buy brand new items does not equate him with people who cannot afford it or does the Governor want to tell me that theres no foreign furniture in his private residence or the State house in Lagos.
I used to think that Fashola is the peoples Governor?
My advice to Fashola/ACN is not to use the Federal Government unbaning for campaigns.
If ACN/Fashola is sincere about it what stops Fashola and his Team from setting up factories that will produce affordable furnitures and cars in Nigeria?
