LSU released several statements regarding this controversy about ten hours ago. Take a look at some of the direct comments LSU posted, they are very frank and honest.

Especially, "We had the legal right, but that didn't mean that we should have exercised that right. We made a bad decision, and we won't repeat the mistake."

Thanks for posting this. I've been waiting for a Christian response to the Occupy events. I appreciate your efforts not to dilute or dismiss your quotations from those you interviewed. Despite the ease it is to dismiss this entire group of people, there are many, many good people at the events. As a Catholic Christian young adult I see so many people I know quickly judge them and merely say "get out of street," and "get a job." Things that sound not too unlike what they might say to a homeless person. It's difficult and unsettling to see such judgement and lack of charity and understanding. Thank you working to get to know those in the group itself, and thanks again for posting this, especially that conclusion. peace

Boxes! You always have them when you don't need them, but never have them when you do. Whole sale stores like Sam's often have giant bins of emptied boxes by the cash registers free for the taking. Paper companies and hospitals often have empty reams that you can take if you ask the right person (try HR), same as the already suggested school departments.

The Rubbermaid ideas are great. Find them on the cheap at target or walmart. I found mine at the dollar store as well!

When I saw the picture, I secretly hoped for a free beer program.

I'd also like to suggest the previously noted DropBox with 2gb for free.

Also, Audiogalaxy is a great music streaming program that is free and works anywhere on any hardware (mostly). It doesn't upload the music, it simply streams it off of the base computer as long as it is up and running.

I did an internship in Louisiana over the summer and became extremely close to several people. I had to leave to return back to school in Texas despite sincerely considering transferring to a school in Louisiana and that was very bittersweet. I fell in love with the community there and grew extremely fond of the bayou. I think about it every single day and cannot wait to go back, even though I have a community here in Texas that loves me.

man I don't even know where my photos are these days either! Haven't been able to shoot in a while, traveling this weekend should some stuff for next week. I'll try shooting some stuff tonight or tomorrow morning. We'll see. Your pictures really make me want to travel.

That's crazy. I once fell and dropped my rebel pretty hard, cracked the filter but that was it! But I wish my camera was weatherproofed! Glad to hear your 7D is sturdy as hell!

Whaaa! That's awesome! I've read a lot of people are upgrading to the 7D... I'm extremely jealous. My XS doesn't have video capabilities but I'm tempted by the new-ish T1i that does. I don't have the money to get the 7D or the legit need (other than to satisfy lust) so I'm eyeing the T1i. Did you just by the body?

I only took an SAT prep course because I was lucky enough that the district was covering the fee for books. I learned nothing from it, and learned more from a free SAT prep website (I recommend Number2.com). I took the SAT in a very affluent high school (2.2% economically disadvantaged of a pop of nearly > 3k) because my own high school (>45% econ disadvantaged) wasn't a location it was being offered. Deep pockets don't go far when the kids who took prep classes fall asleep during the test, I'll say that much. I did well on my SAT to get me where I wanted to go, I remember writing about Moby Dick and Oprah on my essay because all I ever remember was reading Moby Dick in English class and it was the easiest thing to spit up in the allotted time.[/rant]

At any rate, I'll bet you'll do well, just don't fall asleep like those kids, and bring pencils and a good eraser. And Red Bulls make you crash, as exhibited by the kids who fell asleep in the 3rd hour.

How long is the flight?

When I flew from Houston to Tokyo, my 'bench' of seats (4) had two outlets beneath the seats. We flew coach as well, with no premium or elite levels. I used it to keep my Zen charged.

I can't justify liking this. My family is over there as well, granted none of my immediate family are, all of the family on my dad's side live in Metro Manila and Pasig City, where much of the flooding is occuring. I have found out that all my relatives are okay, and the house that always floods (in normal torrential rain, not typhoons) flooded as expected but all is okay. I hope your Dad and family is okay. It's hard to imagine a place that both of us have been so recently is now so devastated. Many prayers.
