It seems to have detatched from every single global indice and is now trading down for 10 straight days (yesterday was a holiday in Japan) and even today is again negative and with a falling Yen. I can't see a short term wave count that makes any sense and I can't see it falling straight to 8700 from here either. Any thoughts?

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 13 November

Dan are you out of your Amazon shorts? You still thinking 136 and if so is that number based on a fib level or something. I can't see why it can't go even further into the stratosphere at this rate.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 11 November

well if you are right the swift change needs to come immediately - euro looks very bullish and appears to have another leg left to do to the upside.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 11 November

I would love for you to be right but USD is again making new lows, and the ES is climbing so hard to see it.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 11 November

I can work this count in with cycles. I was saying I could not see it getting to 130 on this run - Dan has said he thinks it could run into the 130's and I don't see that his charts have resistance until then. Generally however when people start talking crazy prices its is the sign of a top.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 23 October

Nice commentary Rodmann. Target 1020 and we can't move back above 1045 as you state implies a bearish count and yet your comments above imply you think we are only in a correction and move higher.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 1 October

glk - now you have me worried as you have been convincingly bearish!

Its very interesting to look at the alternatives however and thanks Pug for laying them out. There is much talk about the bullish count being off the table due to wave iv now going below wave i. How do you reconcile this with your count? I am thinking the bearish count does not look as clear as many want to say right now but I am worried about the overlap.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 1 October

amature - I too would like the question answered regarding 1-4 violation. How about a move to around 1025 where we all believe 2 should end? then it pulls back making us all believe the top is in only to then reverse hard to the upside again on its way to new highs for v. Its just a thought but I because I have been caught out so many times trying to use EW alone I now keep a very close eye on the cycles to try and tie it all in.

Re: E-mini

Jay respectfully most everyone was calling for a lower low today.
