only small things I see: The camera icon is not located next to the slide to unlock... and tasks do not have location setting options... maybe I am missing it - anyone else see this?

The lack of apps is also on my list (albeit lower than those stated in the post), however reports have said that standard andriod apps will scale up to the larger screen much better than the iPhone to iPad apps did. If you have jailbroken your iPad, you can install the Fullforce app and it will be like androids apps are.

I'm sticking with the iPad.

Does anyone have an unlimited data plan on their ipad? I do and have been wondering if I need it. I tried looking at how much data I've been using to see if I can downgrade - but I can't seem to find my actual usage.

I use about 7,000 minutes a month and my iphone as my primary work, personal and play phone. I use the data/phone together a lot. This is one market segment that will not like the Verizon CDMA.

However, I have the iPad and can surf that while on the phone I guess.

Ads are like 5 seconds and calls are VOIP quality. Good for free and for an ipad phone.

I've been using the Whistle app on my iPhone and iPad in conjunction with Google Voice (although you don't need GV).

It's 100% free to make outgoing and incoming calls (with ads)

If you are calling a toll free number, you can use Skype from the iPad for no charge.

Also, you can use 800-Goog-411 and call information for a local business and they will forward you through from Skype. All free.
