Too many times I've been ripped off by shady meter modifying cab drivers. I've submitted complains with no response. Not to mention Lyft and Uber offer friendliness, cleanliness, and oh that little thing called innovation. Not having to carry cash means a safer Baltimore for me.

Re: Practical Paleo book release celebration GIVEAWAY: US Wellness Meats

Liked and Followed US Wellness Meats and Balanced Bites on Facebook and Twitter.

I'm excited to get the book because I've been eating some form of Paleo ( not always strict ) since 2009 and have lost 38 pounds! Works great. You can use the play, next, etc.. buttons on your keyboard. And the offline iPhone sync ( or Android ) is great! Can make your own playlists too. From what I am seeing Spotify is an identical service and based on the UK "premium" prices I'm seeing, priced competitively.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S II review

Show me an easy way to back up your phone? Do it.
This seems to be too many steps: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-...

NotIntoTeaParties is right.

It's just a phone.

iOS 5 will improve upon:
• Wifi based backups to your iTunes ( no cord )
• Wifi based backups to iCloud ( no computer )
• Re-download ANY media from iTunes ( even music )
• Swipe a song and choose delete. ( did it )

Enjoy your Android phone. I had one for awhile. Samsung Galaxy S. Wasn't for me. Too much work. Need better battery life? Well if you turn off Wifi, GPS, and 3G then it lasts all day. But if you want to use it, prepare for an hour. Bring the charger cable. Took me too long to figure out how to disable the default Samsung customized keyboard, remove bloat apps, and get it sailing.

Apple builds for the average consumer. They do not want to have to learn a manual's worth of customization for a phone. That being said, if you like to tweak until the cows come home - enjoy.

Coke vs. Pepsi
Android vs. iPhone
Domokun vs. Honey Badger

Competition is good. I prefer using Apple because I like the experience as a whole. Customer care, quality support, iTunes ecosystem, and a device that consistently gets better over time. But that's just me.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S II review

God knows I want to play my massive MIDI library on my...never mind.

Re: Lysol Hand Soap Only $0.49 and More at Rite Aid!

It's in a random part of the flyer. I had to look 3 times. I will say that... I just had one of the worst Rite Aid experiences ever. The SUPERVISOR told me that you could not use a coupon on a sale item.

What I later realized, after I left, was that I was going into the negative and the machine wouldn't take the coupon because it made it more so.

That being said, the $1 off Lysol soap coupon mentioned cannot be used with the $3 off coupon. The $1 Rite Aid coupon is actually a manufacturers coupon which as we know is only 1 per item.

Re: http://frankgruber.me/post/2941206080

Very nice!

Re: What’s the Difference Between AT&T and Verizon’s 3G Networks?

Name apps that you feel limited by and why.

Re: What’s the Difference Between AT&T and Verizon’s 3G Networks?

Moot.

Re: Kevin Rose - blogg - 2010 Geek Holiday Gift Guide

Tim encourages you to be skeptical.
