And as for pages, Jay, I'm going to buff up the "About" page, and maybe add a page with my musical history (what ensembles I've played in, who I've played with, etc), and maybe a photo album... any other suggestions?

Yeah except you can "tweet" in response to other people's "tweets" and they find out, and you can choose to follow your friend's feeds.

We're feeling the same way about Mr. Keck at this point: very lucky that he's here.

Our trumpet section will have to come up with another clever shirt for him... hmmm :)

Hey there Lynn!

So great to find out that some people outside of Miami and my hometown of Chicago are finding my little niche here :) I'm so glad Meg is considering Frost and UMiami, it's really an incredible place! I'm a Music Ed major also, and although I'm not in the MED/MSJ program (classical trumpet player), I played jazz all throughout High School, and was active in the jazz program last year in one of the jazz bands. This year, I've actually started my own big band, for UM students who aren't necessarily jazz majors but who want to keep playing.

I'd be happy to answer any questions she might have about the Music Ed program, the Frost School of Music, or UM Life in general! I hope you enjoy the concert tonight, I'm sitting in the hall right now during the dress rehearsal, and the concert sounds like it will be great!

I agree with a lot of what you say, Matt, I also heard that we sounded better and stronger than Cal. I think the main reason that we got no air time was that whether or not they wanted to, the ESPN crews couldn't have gotten up to us since we were so far up in the stands. I think that reflects on the poor planning of the Emerald Bowl organization, though, rather than on ESPN.

Great read! I agree that while Hicks and King made significant contributions in their time at UM, it is clear that their abscence is not the sole reason for the 'Canes poor play this season. Let's hope they can pick it up!
