Hugs honey, I know it is hard and I know also that frustration isn't even the half of it. Sometimes I think that Doctors forget that even though we are experts in our own Children and become experts in certain aspects of our Children's Health we aren't experts.

We need things to be spelt out to us as this is how it stops us worrying even more about things that we don't know, about things which could be a mistake, about things that are perfectly normal... it's just we don't know it.

Hopefully this scan will help and the hospital will listen and stop others from worrying in the future.

Oh good! It's about time the rest of the world caught up with understanding that being a caring Father isn't about being more feminine.

With the men I interact with (I know, I know men other than you and my husband!) they have said in the past that they need someone who is dealing with the same stuff as them. It isn't that they can't talk with their friends about it, it's that they think that they are the only one who cares. One said to me that it's okay for women they can read a magazine or a blog to find the answer to the issues they have!

I think that as you and other trail blazers forge the way forward that we'll soon see everyone having the "enlightenment" and it'll be normal and understood. and as I said I can't wait until the rest of the world catches up.

I'm not an expat, but I have friends who are and they have said the same thing as you. It's different. It's not what you're used to. It's taking time, but most importantly in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter because it is those moments of then and now comparison that make things all the sweeter.

For me everything goes into Google. I have different colours for different family members, I have access to their calendars too. That way everything is available anywhere I log in and I find that so much easier.

I did try to do paper and digital in the past, but I'd always forget to update one or the other and that just isn't fun!
