All you need to do is:

1. install 'connect-form' via npm
2. var form = require('connect-form');
3. add the following to your app.configure:

app.use(form({
keepExtensions: true,
uploadDir: __dirname + '/static/upload/photos/'
}));

4. replace the app.post('/photos', function(req, res){}); block from Pedro's tutorial (6:00 - 11:10) with the following:

app.post('/photos', function(req, res, next){
req.form.complete(function(err, fields, files){
if (err) {
next(err);
}
else {
res.redirect('/photos');
}
});
});

... and then follow the rest of Pedro's great tutoral!

Re: tidysquare

Cool idea! In the early versions of tsq the map size was just based on the map size on the 4sq venue pages (they used to be bigger), and then I just made it a square in later versions. I guess subconsciously I was also trying to keep the overall page width to within 960px so it would fit on most people's browsers (I think it's about 930px wide at the moment). Some kind of maximise option would be good though, I agree. Maybe there could be a toggle button where you could choose between the current view, or a fluid, browser-wide view. I'll have a think. Cheers for the feedback!

Re: http://nodetuts.com/tutorials/11-express-part-iii-restful-forms.html

Thank you Pedro for another extremely helpful tut!

If you find that when you add a new product it wrongly redirects back to the previous product id, it's because the insert function in products.js (shown between 14:15 and 14:19) doesn't increment the id. (Actually, Pedro does show the fix very quickly between 18:16 and 18:18!). So, the insert function in products.js should be:

module.exports.insert = function(product) {
var id = products.length + 1;
product.id = id;
products[id - 1] = product;
return id;
}

Re: BECKICKLESIE: What IS that smell?

Up to 15 applications.

Following BECKICKLESIE in Google Connect
Following BECKICKLESIE on Twitter
Following Cheffy Daddy on Twitter
Joined the BECKICKLESIE Facebook Page
Joined the Cheffy Daddy Facebook Page
Tweeted as @pinksy100 "What IS that smell? Now that I know what I'm doing ;) I could try a radius check - each venue returned by the API has a distance in metres from the map point, so I could probably do something with that... Cheers for the idea!

Re: tidysquare

More SU's definitely needed!

Re: Can Gravity be BIGGER than Twitter?

I'll have an invite Carly! I just wondered a couple of things:

1. How would the argument be turned around? Do you mean "turn around" such that a counter-argument is given? If so, I'm unsure how a counter-argument would constitute a discussion of Dawkins.

2. How is the video myopic? The opening moments of the video, in my view, argue that open-mindedness is the antithesis of myopia:

"Science promotes and thrives on open-mindedness, because the advancement of our understanding about the reality in which we exist depends on our willingness to consider new ideas. Indeed scientific discovery often requires entirely new ways of thinking."

Re: Tweaking Facebook With Greasemonkey

I was using UnFuck Facebook (http://userscripts.org/scri... but it hid my (and your) NetworkedBlogs entries from the main feed

Re: Open-Mindedness

..... eh?

Re: Open-Mindedness

the vid or the comments?

Re: For Lisa

My thoughts will be with you tomorrow Lisa

Re: 5H1T Plates: I predict a riot

Not heard of kayak riots?
