Looking to move to getting an android. This would be truly awesome.

Re: AMD kills ATI brand, you can look forward to blood-stained Radeons

Why o why AMD? This is so obviously a stupid decision. ATI is too good to be labeled under the same brand name given to crappy CPUs that cannot compete with Intel. Not to mention that most people don't even know that AMD owns ATI and will believe that any AMD Video Card is probably just as crappy as their CPUs.

Re: http://iloverockncode.com/post/900370794

I want more awesome coding tips. Been almost 4 weeks since you posted this! Get your act together! ;o)

BTW, what's up with our rails 3 projects? Or have you decided that you rather just keep on coding C# instead? Leave Microshaft and their Winblows behind and do something useful with your mac XD

Re: Sharpie Liquid Pencil, the aftermath: it's 'permanent,' not permanent

hilarious

Re: James on Software | Observational: Better Observers for ActiveRecord

Ah, thanks for the quick answer! The "Creditor" example in the README is what threw me off because "use_credit" is defined as an instance method. I'll continue to use Aditya's fix for now.

Re: James on Software | Observational: Better Observers for ActiveRecord

Love the gem, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me either. I am using Rails 2.3.4. The only way I could get it to "work" is by using Aditya's fix and making my action method in my observer "static".

class RegistrarObserver
observes :registration_item, :invokes => :grant_registrar_role, :after => :create
observes :event, :invokes => :grant_registrar_role, :after => :create

 def self.grant_registrar_role(target)
target.accepts_role!(:registrar, target.registrar) if target.registrar
end
end
