How does that blow my opinion out of the water? The Pennsylvania Supreme court can review any case it wants. I am referring to the US Supreme Court and it's role in our government.

The courts are not there to address what one consider a "failure" but to ensure that the actions of the branches of government do not violate our rights under the Constitution. Jefferson felt that lifetime SCOTUS appointments were the undoing of the Constitution. SCOTUS has had many horrible decisions such as Dred Scott, Plessy, and Korematsu.

The Constitution is not about slavery or no rights for women. Those rights were denied by states not the Constitution.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that people are property. When the Constitution is a "living breathing document" taking into account the "spirit of the times" you can find in the "penumbras and emanations" the fallacy that the Constitution permits slavery.

One of the main factors affecting wage numbers is the amount people expend on health insurance and other health care costs. There has never been any study that has implicated trade with reducing the wealth of an individual or of a country. Again, countries don't trade, people do. When you are voluntarily exchanging goods and services it is done in such a way that both parties are satisfied or they would not engage in the act.

The obverse of a trade "deficit" is an investment account "surplus". Economists use foreign investment in a country as a factor in determining trade amounts between countries. Countries that have gone down the mercantilist road have harmed their citizens with a lower standard of living. Countries don't trade, people do. There is no such thing as a "trade war".

But the county borders themselves are arbitrary. How does using them to create new congressional districts make it more "fair"?

According to Ruger Penn does not collect the data so he cannot confirm nor deny her statement.
