Seriously, it is basically dead from Google's standpoint. And at the time I am posting this comment your article has 2300 Facebook Likes, 32 Twitter shares and 22 +'s for G+. I think it is fine to keep posting content to G+ because it may help those who are connected to you find your stuff easier. But as a actual way to improve your overall ranking of your keywords...not a factor.

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

Looks like they are using yourmembership.com now. Been a while since I looked at them but they would be a pretty good step up in price. They will build out your website on their platform as part of the setup to make sure everything is how it needs to be. Certainly a viable option. It is all about the right solution that solves the problem. Each organizations needs are different.

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

Bill, would love to know if you are still using WA or not and if you need any help with it or recommendations that might work better for your group.

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

not sure they are up and coming just yet. From my quick look at them it is still in a "beta" mode in my opinion. They are positioning themselves to compete with WA but have a ways to go.

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

The web side of WA has had it's challenges for sure. I used it with an existing website to make sure I had everything I needed. They are launching their latest release right now and will have to see how that looks. It looks like they are making improvements on it. There are other association management software platforms out there. It has been a few years since I looked at it. The options were more expensive and the ramp up time to get them setup was a challenge as well.

The key is to figure out what you really need and make sure that the tool you are using is going to deliver on that. If I can help in some way let me know.

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

Software launched in 2006, they have more than 6,000 paid customers (they have a free version as well).

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

I think SilkStart is free right now.

Re: Review of Wild Apricot Membership Management Software

I did a quick look at silkstart. It looks like it is actually free at this point. They do tout themselves as association membership SaaS. From the look though I think they are very much in beta mode. Not really a complete system yet. WA has a free version and lower price points to start out with as well.

Re: 3 Steps to Getting a Professional Design Your Market Wants

I only recently realized you could vote on designs.
