Anyways J.K Rowling was also writing for teenagers. Anyways I'm still a teenager myself and I still thought that Stephenie's books were just not good.

Re: Stalled

I was very excited to watch it because the trailer was good. I saw it earlier and realized that the cool car scene of Vin Diesel in the trailer was the only one. I can see why people say it's good. It just didn't work for me. I wasn't captivated by the car chases and car scenes. I think the first ones were better. It's also true that Paul Walker's expression hardly changes. So 2 stars for me too. LOL my opinion is also wrong.LOLOL

Re: Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince Banners Debuts Online @ ClickTheCity.com Movies

ahh.. I don't care if they have different genres. As books, I agree with Stephen King saying Stephenie Meyer can't write. I liked the twilight book, but it ended there. I loved all the Harry Potter books.

But it may be true that HBP didn't want a competitor like twilight during its release.

Re: Slumdog Millionaire Opens in April @ ClickTheCity.com Movies

im sorry to be in the wrong section but Phil I have to ask about the boy in the striped pajamas. @ ClickTheCity.com Movies

"First off, it just feels so contrived that right after his daughter lands at Paris, she and her friend got immediately spotted by their supposed abductors."- if they weren't the ones spotted by abductors, then there wouldn't be a story right? maybe the abductors return to the airport after knowing the location of a target victim. Why wouldn't they be spotted first if they were there? human trafficking is tolerated in the country, even the police are involved are they not? they are paid to keep silent and to do nothing.

"And talk about more contrivances, Liam happens to be always at the right place and time, able to locate the clues that leads to his daughter’s whereabouts." -if he weren't then again, there wouldn't be much of a story right? if in the end, he didn't find his daughter, then we would be left assuming that we watched through a movie that would lead us nowhere. I didn't even feel that he was always at the right place at the right time. He just knew where and who to go to.

"And if he was indeed a former government agent, wouldn’t he be compensated, at least, properly? And not be a poor, miserable divorcee like what the movie wants to portray him?"- I thought he has a nice house and gave his daughter a nice gift. He just happened to be poor compared to the very wealthy man his ex-wife married. Maybe the divorce left him with less money than he should have had. LOL

"And if he’s really that good, I mean, finding his daughter with a 96 hour window (since when did Albanian traffickers have a deadline?) why wasn’t he recruited by the U.S. gov’t to track its most wanted man, Bin Laden?" - maybe they keep on transferring the girls to make them untraceable. How did you know that he wasn't recruited by the U.S govt to track bin laden? That is a whole new story you know. In this story he knew what to do and he knew people that could help in finding his daughter. I think there are a lot of good officers in the U.S, but not all of them are spotted and made to look for Bin Laden.LOL

Re: Blood Simple
@ ClickTheCity.com Movies

Movies are always full of coincidences. Take for example, on slumdog millionaire, why are all the questions in "who wants to be a millionaire" connected to him? and in the sequence that the first question relates to him when he was a kid and as the questions progress, he becomes older too. the questions and his life are super connected. and the sequence is the same. theres a whole lot more of contrivances in a lot of movies you like. i'm just in a hurry as always. bye for now

movies are fictional. most are not dependent on facts in real life. But they are entertaining and that is what counts.

Re: Slow Death @ ClickTheCity.com Movies

yeah if you're will smith.

Re: Blood Simple
