It doesn't have to be your complete vision but it definitely has to be something people can play with and want to start using that day. We never collected any marketing information other than showing our demo/beta product to our potential users when we built the first version of Edmodo. We used our vision and desire to solve a problem. The market sometimes doesn't know what they want or need, it's up to you the entrepreneur to show them what they are missing :)

Re: The Pre-Product Phase

I will not make introductions for people unless they have a MVP to show. I can imagine what they want to build but at that point i'm not sure they have the desire.

I have only had one person I've actually I recommended to build an MVP actually do it.

My friend built an MVP for his idea and I was true to my word and made an introduction to an investor.

His company was then invested in by the investor I connected him with. This was a very proud moment for me.

I just don't want to waste any of my connections/investors time unless people are serious about building a great product and a company.

Re: Vacation

Albert, enjoy your R&R, you deserve it, see you at the next our next board meeting.

Re: http://dpstyles.tumblr.com/post/5216623835

This looks like it was done by Banksy. Works perfectly. Just an FYI, the polls don't refresh in realtime and the poll must be refreshed.

Re: Edmodo Mobile Web Application

Andrea, this is a behavior of mobile safari pulling up the cached login page, if you get back to the home screen by using the back button, hit refresh at the top you will still be logged in and taken back inside.

Re: Edmodo Mobile Web Application

Linda, open up safari on your ipod touch, then bookmark the page, then click "Add to home screen" to create an Edmodo icon on your ipod touch.

Re: Edmodo Mobile Web Application

Russ, we'll see if we can get a nice icon put together for when you create a bookmark on the home screen for iPhone/iPod Touch

Re: Edmodo Mobile Web Application

Linda, this currently works on iPhones/iPod Touches, and Android. http://m.edmodo.com

Re: Edmodo Mobile Web Application

Thomas, we may be able to get opera mini working properly. I'm sure there we'll be a few bumps and bruises when we launch it, but that is why we are doing it over the summer. Once again thanks for choosing edmodo to use with your students. We appreciate it and the best thing you can do to help us out is tell your colleagues about us and your successes with us.

Re: teendrama :: hello my name is dennis.

I'll give you 2 woods for a sheep.

Re: December Giveaway

Happy Holidays Macgasm.

Re: December Giveaway

My daily entry

Re: Is Apple Care worth the price?

I recommend apple care on laptops, well worth it.
