But definitely will bite other people too. But from nginx' POV, implementing this could be hard - how often do you read /etc/hosts? Do you also read /etc/resolv.conf for search domains?

I should get around to filing bug anyway, though.

Re: About

hah :) Moving to the Bay Area in April 2015, still with Wikimedia but moved to a different team (Ops) :)

Re: DevLog for 18 Aug 2014

Indeed :) I've written a post about it now http://yuvi.in/blog/simple-...

Re: Wikipedia Beta App Goes Native With Drastic New Redesign, Support For Editing, And More

We are working on a new set of Icons that should ship in a week or so.

(App developer here)

Re: Wikipedia Beta App Goes Native With Drastic New Redesign, Support For Editing, And More

You should be able to scroll them to the right this time.

Re: Wikipedia Beta App Goes Native With Drastic New Redesign, Support For Editing, And More

Can you remove the . at the end of the group URL and try?

Re: Wikipedia Beta App Goes Native With Drastic New Redesign, Support For Editing, And More

:D Do opt in and send us feedback! It's not well publicized, but you can opt into our (even more quicker release) alpha at http://lists.wikimedia.org/.... Note that the google groups link there has an extra dot in the end you have to remove to get it to work.

The Beta app was built out a year and a half ago when there was no beta system, and has 40,000 active users. Better to take advantage of that, no? :)

Re: About

hahaha :D I currently work for the Wikimedia Foundation, and might move to the Bay Area soon :D

Re:

But this time I'm forcing myself to think in a purely functional way, and that is definitely helping! Because of that I don't brute force problems but actually sit and think about problems - that seems to be making me a better programmer. So all good, I guess!

Re: Devlog for Tuesday, September 24, 2013

Static Blog Generator is so boring! :P I'm trying to figure out if I can get any production software at WMF written in Scala - probably a hard ask to start with, but I bet I can get something on the semi-production cluster written in Scala (and then eventually migrate it to production!). I've been meaning to do some data analysis stuff over all of wikipedia / commons - perhaps this is a good tool to use for that.

I'll definitely keep the blog updated!

Re: Autosuggest for Tamil in Android Keyboard

:) Thank you!

Re: Leaving ICICI Bank

It was general shittiness of the website, but this was the last straw.

Re: Leaving ICICI Bank

Yeah, my other account is HDFC and it seems okay.
