See where it says "free apps?" You don't leave a very good impression with a potential employer when you don't read their offer.

Re: Perhaps the Braves Spoke to Soon…

I feel for ya buddy. I just hope you don't get the last laugh when Furcal's back goes out again.

The Dodgers seem to have a knack for signing free agents and putting them on the DL

Hey, Andru Jones is still available. Anybody? Anybody? I hear crickets.

Re: Could Furcal Make a Return?

I would hate to see Furcal leave the Dodgers. He's a great hitter and been a productive lead off hitter.

I just don't think we're interested in keeping damaged goods. He played with an ankle injury for most of '07, probably should have gone on DL. He had the back thing this year. His return was really to short to tell, but it looks like it will be OK.

Good luck if you get him back.

Any chance you'd like Andru Jones back too?

Re: Are the Red Sox the Next Evil Empire?

Red Sox are being cast to play the villain in Anaheim, home of the happiest place on earth. The Angels have a harder time getting passed Boston than they do deciding what city their stadium is in.

Re: 5 Reasons to Keep Watching Baseball

My reason for watching right now is the Dodger rebirth. For the last 20 years I've usually found a reason. If for no other reason than baseball is superior to any other sport.

The No Fun League is boring. Just committee meetings and violence with a few dancing millionaires every once in a while.

Just watch. You'll get your reason.

Re: Housekeeping

Viva los Dodgers. Thanks for the chance to vote for the Dodgers again. Keep posting those polls that have the Dodgers as the right answer and I'll keep doing them.

Re: Cubs See 0-2 Hole

I almost felt sorry for Zambrano last night. His boys didn't back him up. I haven't watched the Cubbies much this year, but they have to be better than they played last night.

Viva Los Dodgers!

Re: Betrayal and Hope

We talked about Korihor in GD today. I'm seeing similarities.

People are free to do and believe whatever they want. If they choose to oppose the prophet, that's their right. But they shouldn't be surprised to find they are outside of the Church.

I'm starting a series of posts on this topic. The first is here http://tinyurl.com/57j8qh I'd like to read your comments on it.
