Paddy's story line irritates me the most. I simply cannot tolerate the way that they are trying to frame his so-called relationship as romantic. He's a smaller version of America's Thomas Jefferson if you ask me. He's disgusting and I don't understand why Beau and Charlie help him for even five minutes. I understand that historical racism makes sense in terms of Paddy but he should be being called out every five minutes for the shit he says.

The leadership may be using the bible as justification from their actions but what is clear is that what Gilead is really about is supporting and uplifting patriarchy even as it actively and cruelly oppresses women. If it were really about Christianity, reading the word of God in a public place would not have resulted in punishment for Serena Joy.

It's not stupid that the included people of colour, it's stupid that it was properly contextualised. As for your suggestions that this is about surrogacy, I've yet to see a reading of this show more erroneous than that.

This is the ending to an episode I didn't know I needed. The handmaid's tale has been so repressive and so dark that even in the very few moments of triumph it's hardly uplifting. To see Ofglen charge the stage detonator in hand and the building explode had me cheering and wanting more.

I really did not expect Will to die. We hardly got to know him but I felt the impact of his loss thanks to his mother abd brother.

I don't want Barb to be dead tbo she was simply the sensible 3rd wheel.

As for Rl, her back story is horrifying. Also why didn't she kill papa. It looks to me lije he deserves to die. What kind of monster gets a kid to kill a cat?

I don't think Nancy sypathised with Jonathon but the picture of Barb caught her attention. Jonathon shouldn't have taken pictures but I think that those kids bullied him.

Here's the thing, I think that the interaction between Sansa and Arya were real. Sansa was really terrified when she found the masks. HBO has released that they didn't air a scene they filmed where Sansa went to consult Bran and he filled her in on all of Little Finger's activities. It had the added benefit of the viewer being surprised when Sansa confronted Little Finger but left the plot feeling completely disjointed.

I agree with you on Cersei. I really think they should have had Jamie just kill her off already. There's too much to be done with the Night King as well as Jon's parentage to bother with Cersei. From this point on, she'll be nothing but a distraction at the most.

I loved the face down between the Mountain and The Hound. It suggests that before everything is done, these brothers will finally have it out.

I dislike that Yara will be nothing more than Theon's redemption journey given that the writers had made her such a powerful character.

As for Jon. He is clearly to stupid to live. Talk about damn plot armor. Lie already damn it. Lie. He's not fit to rule anything because he is too damn naive.

I don't agree with your position on Casterly Rock. It makes sense to me that both Jamie and Cersei would see the rock as a target given that Tyrion has always been desperate to rule the rock but was denied by Tywin. Of course Tyrion would want to bring the rock down.

Daenerys came off like the entitled twit that she is this episode. Daenerys expects people to swear their allegiance to her because she flew in on dragons, ignoring that there's a really good reason her family was ousted in the first place. Then there's the whole, I am the Queen because of my lineage but you cannot blame me for what my family did. That's what they call having your cake and eating it to. Most of the time that she spent on screen, I found myself just wanting to slap her.

Olenna went out like a damn G. If she had to go, I'm glad that it was spectacular. Revealing that she is the one who killed Joffery (who did need killing btw) is going to push yet another rift between Jamie and Cersei. Jamie always believed in Tyrion's innocence and was known to take Tyrion's side against Cersei. Yes, Tyrion did kill Tywin but I bet Jamie will have no problem forgiving that given the givens. I suspect that Jamie will see this as the beginning of Cersei becoming irrational.

Also, Cersie subjecting people to her incest sex EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

I really do like the insinuation that it's Adrian who is actually the rapist and not Jay. I need thrm to move away from that quickly.

For me, the problem isn't that the mist came to early but that they reacted with fear so early. They are all acting as though they've been trapped for weeks rather than less than 48 hours.

I was absolutely gutted when Netflix decided to cancel sense8 because it is easily one of my fav shows. I'm thankful however we're not going to be left hanging. I can only hope that enough people watch that Netflix will capitulate and make another season. There simply isn't anything elese around that is even remotely as diverse.

I see Kyle not waiting around to see what is in store for gim as reasonable, particularly because his daughter also has the magic touch. I do however like Kyle not putting up with holier than thou Anderson who is several levels of wrong and gross.

Mrs Giles is a mammy and it's a gross racist trope. She has no motivation other than to serve white people. Does she even have a name? She might as well be possessed for all of the characterisation they gave her.

It's not the first time Doctor who has made humanity forget to explain the fact that nothing has changed and that people haven't been traumatised by what they've been through. That being said, it's a weak writers device to explain away poor decisions when they've written themselves into a box once again.

Personally I love the idea of having most of the episodes leading somewhere rather than randomness for randomness sake. In comparison to last season, this one has been a bit of a disappointment.
