This also throws off the Total column for every town. Barkhamstead, for example, has a total in the magazine of 41, but on the PDF it's 39. And, as Barbara says below, if you add the columns up in the magazine, the totals don't equal the sum of the columns. Again using Barkhamstead as an example, the total of the magazine columns is 43, but the total says 41. Is there a method to this madness?

Re: E-mail Could Be Binding

Be careful using disclaimers. According to my research and opinions from attorneys familiar with them, disclaimers are, with few exceptions, NOT a legal defense against this type of case. No US court case has ever turned on the presence or absence of a disclaimer, but at least one did in England, where the court ruled against the person who used the disclaimer.. Before using any disclaimer I would consult an attorney to see if it could be legally binding.

Re: How to Create a Short URL for Your Google+ Profile

Actually, the .to domain is Tonga, not Turkey, isn't it? As others have said, we're on Twitter,, Facebook, LinkedIn, Plaxo, ECademy, etc etc... The big thing is trying to integrate all this SM into a coherent plan that results in new business. We have only recently begun to get clients from Twitter and Facebook, but the other networks have added little or nothing to the mix. I agree with Deborah Stone's comment that you feature above and on your AR blog: why can't someone develop a comprehensive business plan for Realtors that incorporates social media into your everyday marketing efforts and that results in an influx of new clients and closed transactions, and then distribute it, either freely or at a nominal cost, to the RE.net? Or, if someone has already done it, why isn't it available to other agents? Perhaps Ross's report will be the Rosetta Stone we seek...

Re: WiseStamp: Add Your Social Media Signature to Your Email

This looks like something I've been looking for, thanks for the tip!

Re: Twitter: We Need Search By Authority

Why even mess with a good thing? Why can't we just leave well enough alone? Why is someone always trying to make things "better", instead of use it as it's intended? Twitter just asks, "What are you doing?", not "Who are you and why should I listen to you?". Besides, your answer to that second question might not matter to me as much as you think. WTF?? Can somebody please decipher what that gobbledy-gook means and what possible effect it has on the accuracy of the poll? And no estimate of sampling error?? How about +/- 50%? That ought to about cover it...man, we must have half of the 8% of buyers here in our market! Heck, I don't know what I'm gonna be doing in the next 30 days, let alone a year, but I can tell you one thing: we'll be selling houses. So many things could happen that could totally invalidate this poll. We expect gloom and doom from the MSM, but from within our industry?
