I just sent my off to Apple yesterday, it only took them 11 days to get me my packaging. So I have not yet received my replacement, I will update when it arrives.

I have no problems connecting to Mobile Me. It could be A DNS issues, or Apple may not be allowing ping replies.

I actually think the White MacBook is quite good for certain people. Look at the specs. They are identical to the base-model 13-inch MacBook Pro. Same Processor, Same Memory Type, Same Size Hard Drive. The White MacBook has 2GB less of memory, not a big deal to the target consumer. The White MacBook is absolutely fantastic for the school market and getting the basic consumer to look at the device. Ultimately that consumer may buy a MacBook Pro, but the MacBook is the item that got them to look at it in the first place.

Apple did offer an alternative. They have the Mac Minis, ok so many enterprises won't bother with those. But apple did introduce the Mac Pro Server. The same form factor as the Mac Pro, but with more memory and OS X Server. So the statement "decided to kill the product without offering an alternative" is incorrect.

I have a few questions:

1. Were you able to successfully download the application to your iPhone or iPod Touch? If so, does the application actually launch?
2. Can you post a link to, or post, the exact error message?
3. Have you tried un-installing the application and re-installing it?

Too bad they don't have the Mario One available anymore. I'd almost think about getting it for my macbook too, but again, they don't have the Mario & Luigi one anymore.
