Looks like you have to buy it (which is cool), but the iTunes store link (https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.w...) doesn't respond (which isn't cool).

MG, where do you go for the iPod Touch firmware? I try to update through iTunes and it says that 1.1.4 is the most current.

Doing your Shift load of the iPhone firmware just made me reset my iPod touch.

True. I use Media Center in a VM to stream. I'll have to find out later how you work Mac -> 360. :)

Wow that does suck. Great info, I'll update. I'm sure people will have simple hacks for this (for example I stream from my Mac to my 360), but still.

I was under that impression too, Veverkap. The last time S3 had some
serious downtime, it was a DNS problem -- perhaps this was something
like that.

I was under the impression that S3 was redundant. It claims to be decentralized.

Not sure there's a company that specifically does that, but a number
of PR professionals have been proposing a standard for the "social"

I'm not "passing judgment" by saying that I don't get it. I don't get particle physics, but that doesn't mean I'm passing judgment on it. I'm sure it's really exciting to those physicists who work in the field, but I'd much rather spend my time doing what I love.

Seesmic is the same thing for me. I'm sure it's really awesome for some people (there are a number of active "seesmers" on there), but for me, I just don't understand the attraction (I don't get it)

veverkap, I'm in the same camp. My webcam gets used only when my family overseas wants to see me. Other than that, I explicitly DO NOT want to be seen when chatting or Skyping or whatever. I know a lot of communication is visual, but somehow this never translates over video, only in real life face-to-face situations.

I've been on Seesmic for a little while now and, other than making the customary "test" message, I haven't used it and went right back to Twitter. I don't get it myself. I have a webcam so that my son can video chat with his great grandmother in Florida and his grandparents.

I'm not sure I would ever use it for anything else.

So you may not get them the first, second or fifth time you visit the sites but chances are very good that at some point you will encounter them.

I went to Snopes.com and didn't see a popup from there. There was a popup for Netflix and that's all. I visited in IE to make sure as well.
