His 3C model is great, but newspapers aren't building the framework for direct sales, either online or within their sales structure. Sales teams aren't built to go door-to-door, showing people how to use these tools, showing people WHY these tools are important. And they must.

Re: Trust Agents- An Introduction

If it works, why change it?

Re: New tricks: Put the ’social’ in social media

Glad you made it over to my blog, Ricardo.

To me, it's all about face time. It'd be easier to see how the agency will make money.

What this model doesn't take into consideration, is the constant scrambling for business, the constant RFPing and other new biz activities that can take up huge chunks of people's time. Any thoughts on that?

Re: Case study on storystreaming: A day in the sun

I like it. I'd feel bad creating a post that's simply a link to a story, along with two sentences. I feel like I'd have to choose between two options:

1. Shortening it to a Tweet, and not posting it on my blog.
2. Expanding my thoughts to more than two sentences, to make it a legitimate blog post.

Posterous is flexible enough to do both. For the quick hits, it can re-post them as a Tweet. For a blog post, it syndicates to all of your other networks.

This just makes sense to me.

Re: Old Media vs. New Media: Battle to the death?

IMHO, old media may have all the credibility in the world, but needs to earn street cred in the new media landscape if it is to remain relevant.

Just my two cents.
