Seriously R&I is the gayest thing that has ever been put on tv ever. They make The Odd Couple look like it was actually just about two unlikely dudes that lived together with no hidden subtext that became the cliche of how to represent straight/gay dynamics.

I think even if one episode was nothing but those two having hardcore sex it would still be the least gay episode of that show.

Ah I believe your talking about the dragon queen lady (uhmm her in a rare moment of having clothes on http://www.blogcdn.com/www.... for a character who has lots of nude scenes finding the screen shots of her tastefully nude were harder to find than I thought. I wanted the iconic scene where she is sitting on the ash pit covered by baby dragons but oh well.

Everyone does die. Its a fantasy book where real medieval politics actually factor in which is nice.

The real reason to watch is that Peter Dinklage is in it though, and he is amazing. I'm glad other people are finally recognizing how great he is because I've always thought so.

Sorry, a character being naked is not good enough for me to go on. I think all the adult characters have been shown naked at one point or another... Including characters that they made older because no one really wanted to see thirteen girls getting sexed by adults. Except apparently everyone who read the book, yikes. I kept explaining that I got all the subtext they told me I lost from the book when she married Drogo and I was much happier that we were seeing a sexy adult woman naked with a fake ass looking wig than a little girl with a fake wig.

The only thing that threw me was the 16 year old with a decent sized chest who is pretending to be 13 and pre-pubescent, who has a little sister who is played by a 13 year old who is I guess even younger. It hurts to keep track of.

Yes, Game of Thrones. I was watching the tv adaptation when I wrote this. Have you seen it? Its so good, (and because its HBO lots of naked chicks.) It was so fun watching the other people completely not get the basic plot of the show. apparently everyone who else who hadn't read the books first like me thought the main character would live past season 1, where I was surprised his dumb ass survived as long as it did.

I read it, its just something I'm passonate about and can't shut up about.

There was a lot off good things in the dark ages tech wise. but when you compare it to them being having pioneered brain surgery, and were capable of erecting buildings that we still have no idea how to reproduce, we don't even understand the scientific principles that went into building them well enough. They were scratching upon the germ theory of disease! The simple fact that in the 21st century we are still finding out things that the ancient greeks already knew, which we only discovered within my lifetime. Its a giant mind fuck to try and picture.

The advances in farming are really interesting throughout that time period, and its the only time ever that defensive technology was stronger than offensive technology. I even love the architecture of the old churches. Not a fan of the fact that they were funded entirely on extortion, but I can't deny their beauty. But it was still a pretty dark time for science...

not to mention that most inventions were finished at about the same time around the world by different people. The wright brothers are only the first successful flight by a short time period. Alexander Graham Bell didn't even invent the telephone.

We WOULD have had graphing calculators that use what we think of as normal where you don't need to rewrite formulas into a machine format to calculate years earlier if Texas Instruments weren't dumb. but they were and ended up having to Recreate technology they were previously handed for next to nothing.

The whole idea that only one person invents something flys in the face of the face of the fact that ideas tend to pop up all over the world at about the same time in the minds of people who have no contant. The one we recognize is more about luck and marketing then brain power. There are some interesting paradigms to explore like what would the world look like if our grid was D/C rather than A/C. We would have hyper efficient computers and technology because we don't have to convert A/C to D/C in all our things. but the shape of urban planning would have changed because of the limitations of transmission.

The greeks had technology that not only do we not know how they made it, we can't make it with all our fancy modern technology. for all the money we spend on speaker technology, we still can't reproduce sound as well as their old amphitheaters. I don't know where this idea that ancient cultures were dumb comes from. Before christianity brought us the dark ages humanity was pretty damn smart overall.

I keep watching this show Secrets of the Dead because its an interesting look at historical cultures, but it has this attitude of OMG how did they do anything back before computers? How did china make all those clay warriors without proper climate controls? well they just dug a hole into a mountain and what do you know, the earth is a great form of insulation. I wish the show approached ancient cultures from the perspective that they were basically as smart as us overall, but they had different tools, and unlike modern times they didn't care if it took a long time to build things. Because their tools are amazingly clever.

What I really want, and see as my current ultimate measure of success as an artist, is to have a studio where other artists want to hang out and create at. I see it as this whole thing with some kind of cafe/sandwich shop attached, with cool art from all the artists who had been there. Its a kinda douche-y plan on paper really, but I think I want it earnestly enough that in practice it wouldn't feel douche-y. I'll also see myself as successful when I'm rich enough to support other artists as full time artists who do their own thing. I wanna be an old school patron of the arts!

The real cost of motor homes from what I understand is the tires that need to be changed frequently and are expensive. My Aunt who lives in California has one, so she can go vacation anywhere she wants to. Its obviously still cheap compared to a house, provided you can move with the temperatures. I wouldn't mind being a renter for life if it meant I could live in walking distance of having things to do though. I still don't see how owning a house saves money, seems like everyone still is paying rent to a bank except you are the one on the hook for repairs. I guess if you live in one place long enough you own it but I don't want to be that stationary. Owning a house would be a death sentence for me, I would never leave it and would stay there forever. I would become the hermit I'm fighting hard to not become.

Your life plan is better than most people's, because most people just do the whole house, kids, marriage thing because that's whats expected of them. They go through their entire life without figuring out what they truly want for themselves. They just do all this shit and then reach retirement and are lost. Its sad.

Taken is a Liam Neson film, in which he has a daughter who is about to be sold to rich perverts to be raped, because apparently if you are gonna rape a lady its best to do it to a virgin. He spends most of the movie brutally murdering anyone who gets in his way, he also horribly wounds people who try to slow him down with things like laws.

as for what to watch, Sherlock. the last episode is the best episode cliffhanger and all.

It definitely requires more powers of perception then I have.

I mean there was a point where I could almost figure out your cycle but that was when we were chatting pretty hardcore for several hours a night. It was kind of a case of investigating a pattern and when I realized what I was doing it was too late to hit undo... I can't really do it anymore so that is good.

Dude, its super creepy you know that. there is only one level of knowledge about someone other then your boobs that is possible, and that is when you can recognize her cycle by amount of swelling in the chest. I don't even know how possible that is but i've seen people claim it...

Yeah, its not really my thing, but I think tv could use to even up the fanservice a bit.

mmmm wet t-shirts. too bad that a lot of the fun of a lady in a soaking white t-shirt is stuff you can't really show on tv, so they edit it in a way so that if your lucky you maybe get to see some bra straps, even though they can show a them in just the bra so I don't get it. although sometimes they cheat, and the actress "forgets" to wear a bra and then its all this scene guest staring the actresses erect nipples. they really steal the scene, but sadly they don't get a mention in the credits. But its a lot of fun when they make their cameos :3

I'm pretty sure you liking him more as he gets naked is the intended female reaction. I know thats why the reverse scenario happens so I assume its the same thing.

If she had invisibility like the lady on venture brothers then it would be different. her invisibility only works on her skin. Which is pretty horrible, i don't want people seeing inside of me.

Yeah, i too reinvisioned that ending and it went from bittersweet to really sad.

This episode was the first in which i actually liked rory. From how he held together for the ladies when the doctor dies to that scene with him and river. Plus his helping out the fbi guy which was just brilliant. I felt like i finally got who he was.

I forgot the doctor didnt finish her diary. That made me tear up a bit. Thanks. You made me cry jerk. How could he not finish her book. Fuck you doctor. Fuck you.

I really want to get a replica of her diary.

I don't get people, the more I see of River the more I like her. I'm not gonna lie, when she saw the younger version of the doctor and he no longer remembered jim the fish I chocked up a little. Plus you know what she knows, exactly how awful it is when she shows up and finds a doctor who no longer knows who she is. The library episodes were my introduction to the series, and yet I still cried for her at the time. I really want to go watch them again after the latest episode. But then I will cry, again. Probably even more this time cause I know who she is now.

The only movies that I can think of that can get away with video gamey looks are tron and scott pilgrim. They are about gaming culture at their core, to remove that imagery would make the movies fall apart.

Maybe its because I'm a dude but I've never viewed having a character of certain genders or nationalities essential to my enjoyment of the show. Females on Rocko were pretty rare but I still see it as a pretty great show.

I was going to make a joke about your raging lesbianism but I'm actually thinking that its more that people who have really close friendships are basically gay for each other in a completely nonsexual way. You like a lot of shows with strong female characters with tight friendships, so your really just adding in the next logical step of them hooking up. You've done it irl-ish with the pa/pvp people too.

I never understood why you went into chemistry tbh, I didn't understand then why you didn't go into some writing oriented field. I mean I understand now, its the same reason I have avoided college, the only thing I really want for a career I was too practical to actually pursue. And I am terrified of spending the kind of money college requires to end up where you are now.

Seems like you have the same problem as me, but you are facing it from inside of college and I am from outside. the kinds of things I want to take classes on aren't really what I want to do as a career.

I am getting super close to going tho, its actually getting to the point where my age is going to help me get back in rather then hinder like it did in my early 20's. the system is set up weird. Then I'm gonna piss off the new media students by doing essentially that degree but creating it myself so I end up with a non douche bag sounding degree.

Its surprisingly common in Japanese comics for the rapist to cure the victims trauma by being really good at sex so she cant stay mad at him cause she really enjoyed it. Becaus epeople seriously suck like that.
