I have the Vizio M401-a3... I also checked out the Samsungs prior to purchase, but in the end the Vizio just out performed & out priced the competition. I LOVE my Vizio

I would.... but it is throwing markup validation error as well as js errors.. I'll wait until I can provide a valid code. Let me know when you get it sorted out. If you want to IM me about this.. email me and I'll put you in touch.

that was my original intent, but then this just seemed easier in the end. In fact it worked quite nice then suddenly the original script coming from disqus just quit working all together.

no its not in place at all..

I had the site up all day with the original code in it

in fact I saw that the commenting system just quit working all together ... I waited as long as I could (since friggin IE still has the majority of the browser market) and I deactivated it.

If you would like for me to activate it again so you can look at it let me know.

put the original code back in and now NOTHING!!!
It's now not displaying in ANY browser... any ideas as to why?

I figured out the conditional comment that would work just fine.. goes like this:

I cant tell if its the entire embed.js or the thread.js... what I would like to do is have some sort of conditional comment in the beginning of the embed js that basically says the same as this:

View the forum thread.

If you can write that in, I can insert the entire embed.js int my page (instead of a link to mysite/embed.js)
That would work until we figure out the underlying issue.

That's in your cache... the site redirects fine in FF2 & 3. Clear your cache and try again. There's a hardcode in the htaccess that will redirect you from tommylogic.com to www.tommylogic.com. With a clean cache I'm unable to go to the article (or any page that I have injected the JS into) via IE 6 or 7

I got nothing.. totally specific. If there was a work around, I could write in a conditional comment... but so far nothing. Can you replicate this on your end?

Having issues in IE7.. upon further testing.. page is now throwing an error: IE7 Cannot Display your Web Page

Although I threw the CDATA into the main index.php template, it seems to only be occurring on the pages that the original JS is being inserted in. Windows IE7 tested. FF2 & 3 are OK (as usual)
Please let me know your configuration and whether or not you experience problems.

When I am done testing, I'll be writing a tutorial on it soon... I think its about the simplest solution I've found to date when it comes to commenting on a Joomla site. If I could find a way to implement a Captcha or similar, it would be a vast improvement. Any word on that?
