Unfortunately, when these cities are hosting major events, finding decent short term rentals can be very difficult if not impossible. I think the ban impinges on the owner's right to use their property as they see fit. I would rather see licensing at the worst instead of a total ban, simply to ensure there is accountability by the owner for the actions of anyone to whom they rent. Sarah died sometime after they arrived. John remarried Elizabeth Hunter and had several more children. We have a pretty complete summary of brothers and sisters from that line.
