I am, of course, gratified to read that we were able to expose someone like Jay Smooth to a new fan through EPIC FU. And it's fascinating how the landscape of information aggregation has changed so radically in the past few years. I still regularly read The New York Times (online, of course), but only when I am looking for in-depth information, such as the goings-on in Gaza right now. Whereas most people used to find out about what was going on in the world through their daily paper, now most people use feeds from the web, and even more importantly, social aggregators like Twitter. From our perspective, the most exciting part of this new information landscape is seeing where influencers congregate and get their information. Right now, Twitter and, to a lesser extent, Friendfeed seem to be the touchpoints.

Re: ZADI DIAZ

OMG it's so funny that you posted this!
