Yes, you see it your way and I see it mine. I see it the way a great Liberal Lion did.. Teddy Kennedy.. He always reached across to the republicans to get things done and it worked... that's who taught and mentored Pres. Obama and that's who he is following.. Maybe he isn't jumping up and down screaming like you want him too.. but he never did.. that's not who he is, who he was or who he ever will be.. and for you to ever think he was.. is just wrong on your part.. you never knew who Barack Obama was if that's what you think or thought he would ever do.

He has done exactly what he said he would do.. all along.. and he really never campaigned on health care for all... that was Hillary.. but he has come around to that position... to make it mandatory.. so he has evolved in some regards.

But as I said.. you and I see things differently... I am more willing to trust my president even after seeing this country get screwed for the last 8 years.. and you aren't ready to do that.

It is time to let the last 8 years go..

As far as him prosecuting anyone.. IT IS NOT FOR HIM TO DO. HE IS THE PRESIDENT. That is the AG's job..

And it is happening.. maybe not as fast as me or you or anyone else wanted.. but it is and hopefully it will happen.. I still am trying to have faith it will happen. That's all we can do. Most people didn't think there would ever be a special prosecutor appointed but there has been. And there have been hearings in the Congress... So there are things happening.. just have to be patient a little longer.. it is hard but we were patient for 8 years what is a few more months.

And I have to respectfully disagree with a lot of what you said. I will copy what you have said and write up a post and answer every one of your statements.. because it is much more than I can answer in just the few moments I have here and in a few lines..

The one I really have to strongly disagree with is his distancing himself from AG Holder... He has to do this... it is called Separation of Powers.. After the last 8 years of the Executive Branch and the President and VP getting involved in the mess with all the Attorneys General and making their own laws and doing basically what the hell they wanted with the constitution and torturing who they wanted to when they wanted to, now you want this president to do the same thing?

I think he has to say publically that he wants to go forward, but behind the scenes he has done what he could to push for this to happen. I firmly believe this. I don't think he is letting it slide, but is erring on the side of caution in order to let the Judicial system work in the way it is supposed to work. If he came out and told AG Holder to prosecute everyone or no one, then he WOULD be just like Bush and Cheney wouldn't he? That's not what we worked for, voted for nor what I want, or I suspect what you want either really.

Other than that.. everything else I will post in another blog post at my site. You may still not agree with anything I say.. but it will at least be an answer.

Hey, thanks for coming by my place.. however I would love it if you would list your reasons for being disappointed in Pres. Obama.. What is it he has done that make you feel that way. I would like a chance to rebut them or something, if you would come back and give me a list of things. I keep hearing people say that but no one ever says why they are and I really would like to know.

I haven't a clue whether it is true or not.. that's beside the point as far as I am concerned. It is a personal and private matter and should be left alone. A divorce is a painful matter, for all the parties involved, the husband, wife, and most especially the children. Even if it is a mutual decision, there is a lot of pain involved.

So, DIDDY and any other of the Palin fans... from this LIBERAL as you always call me..I am saying LEAVE THE PALINS alone in this matter.. there are plenty of other things to debate her about.. but the divorce and anything to do with it should be off limits.

As a matter of fact I do know him and I live very close to his district.. I know a lot more about him than you do and have read more of the things he has said.. This is not the first time he has said things such as this about the president being aborted. It is also not the first time he has said things such as this about the presidents mother marrying inter-racially.
It has nothing to do with the fact that I am a liberal or whatever. Diddy you love throwing that around... That's why I walk away from here and then I come back.. I do like this blog.. but I hate coming here and getting this kind of rhetoric for my opinion.
It has nothing to do with my politics.. This was a comment that should not have been said.. period... not about Clarence Thomas nor about Barack Obama.. now what does that have to do with being a Liberal or a Conservative?

No it isn't... they work for us.. not the other way around.. they should keep their butts in DC and do their job.. Why do they think they need to run home and take vacation all the damn time? Sorry, I don't think it is right for that to happen.. they only work 4 days a week, when they even do that.. they take off everytime the wind blows and for every measly holiday you can think of.. They never used to take the month of August off.
It's just another delay so that it won't get done at all.. and that is not acceptable. I have insurance, so it's not for me I am saying that.. it is for people like you and others who don't have it that I am talking about.

If you see his motives you see him a lot better than I do.. and actually she wasn't, remember she remarried for a while.. then he was raised by his grandparents in a loving 2 parent home.. maybe it wasn't his mother, but it was a 2 parent home. So, as I said his premise is still wrong... As I stated I don't really know anything about Justice Thomas..so I can't say anything about him... Tiahart is still an ass and it should never have been said.

That is just what the President has said.. and that is all something that will be worked out in conference..
This isn't a final bill.. this is just what the House has worked up. The Senate has their versions... which are still being reconciled.
Nothing we are seeing yet is anything close to what we are going to get, I am sure.

The President has stated that IF there is a mandate, which he did NOT support but has said he is coming to think he may now support, there would be a hardship exemption.. which in your case Vast would apply. Therefore it wouldn't cost you a thing.

This has NOTHING to do with Single Payer.. that's not even on the table.. I wish it was..

I really am not sure what more people want him to do.. he can only do so much by law.

I have a question, There are several openly gay members of Congress, why is there no outrage towards them for not acting more on theses matters.. they should be pushing these things harder, i.e. DOMA & DADT, if a bill was sitting on his desk on Jan. 20, and he had signed it then would that have made everyone happy... There was a bill for DADT introduced in 2007 in the House and it died in Committee.. why is no one angry with the members of the House.. Barney Frank et al for not pushing it harder to get it done?

Why all this anger toward Pres. Obama... is he supposed to forget everyone and everything else going on and just concentrate on the LGBT issues until it is settled? Because that's sure what it seems like it sometimes.

I think it is a start..now if the Senate doesn't water it down too much. But I am afraid they will. It was hard enough getting it through the House. It is a step in the right direction, but I don't think it was enough.

We aren't being aggressive enough with the industry, but then are we ever? We might hurt someone's feelings.

I think you are giving up way to early. I don't even know where to begin to refute half of what you have written here and wouldn't even want to try, because I don't think it would do any good. You sound like your mind is made up and there would be no use trying to change it.

I am sorry you have given up on our President when he has only been in office 5 months. It is going to be a long 4 years if that's the case for you.

Obama talks issues, McCain never does. He and Cariboo Barbie mostly attack Obama. Even when the crowd boos McCain Obama tells them don't boo go Vote. I never hear McCain ever say anything like that. He encourages the booing, so does Palin. Probably why he couldn't say it was a dignified campaign.

More troops, help farmers with lessening the poppy growth so they have income, and deal with Pakistan. In a cohearent way so they know we are behind them, and yet maintain a partnership with India. We are part of a coalition that is undermanned. We are not looking to become a force of 150,000 as we are in Iraq. I am paraphrasing here...but that is basically what he is saying. So how is he avoiding an answer.?? I thought he gave a very well thought out, very detailed answer. Much more than I have ever heard from McCain. The so called, expert on foreign policy. In fact in this and in the CNN with Wolf Blitzer interview with him and with McCain the differences with both are so striking. Obama's answers are so thought provoking, so intelligent, while McCain's are nothing but attacks against Obama, and he rarely gives an answer to the question.

Here is a link to a news story about some of the kids that were bussed into the rally. I think it stinks. I would be so pissed if it was my kid. But it does say that it was optional so I guess you could opt out. I just wouldn't want my kid to listen to his rants and raves and lies, and to not have the opportunity to hear both sides. The least they can do is find a Biden rally and take them to it. At the very least.

She has covered the news and Sarah Palin for several years and this is on her blog and has more info and this video has some good information about it. It debunks pretty clearly all the stuff that is being put out by the McCain camp. Hope this helps.
