They’re well within their rights with this protest.

Hawaiian State gov had to give the US Federal gov permission to use the site. Hawaii is a US State and a democratic republic. Hawaiian citizens are excercising their right to protest the actions of their elected officials and that of the federal government.

It’s also a federally registered protected historical site because of its cultural and religious significance.

And it being “American Land” is a joke. Hawaii was stolen from the Hawaiian Monarchy. A group of well connected American sugar cane farmers staged a coup so they could export their product without tariffs.

There’s no way around it—the elders absolutely have the right to speak up on this.

Re: She Yelled And Called Me Names

I think a Christan was at Starbucks for the same reason that Jesus was at parties with prostitutes. It's the sick that need a doctor, and the lost who need finding. Would she have encountered that woman otherwise?

Re: Jesus - Post It Notes

I get what you're saying, but God can do anything with anything:

"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe...Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men......God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong," (1 Cor 1:21,25, 27)

I know people in our generation who street preachers reached. God is way bigger than our methods, because he is WAY more in love with the people we're trying to "get saved" than even we are.

Besides, can YOU develop a relationship with every single person out there who needs Jesus? Did Peter? DId Paul?
Nope. Only God can - that's the point. So the Apostles preached, and they were laughed at, reviled, persecuted... and the Church was born.
