Why they don't have a business section is hard to understand. Considering their plans to monetize it, I'm sure they'd make more money off business selling blue widgets, than another skateboarder leaving tooth fragments on the sidewalk.

Re: Breaking: Amazon Is Down For The Count

Still down at 2:42 est time. Some of the online social stuff is really invasive. Learning to control the online stuff is really a matter of discipline. Balance is important. Nobody works 7/24, even if they like to create a persona that suggests that.

Re: Solar Powered Airplane Launching Later This Year

It's encouraging to see all the green innovations coming out these days. Even a plane that partially uses solar would be a big improvement. Given all that wing space for panels, being closer to the sun, and flying above the clouds, solar powered planes make perfect sense.

Re: Today I Yelled At Cshel.com

As a reader, I must confess to not being a big video blogger fan. While, it may make sense from an SEO standpoint in the SERPS, it just takes so much longer for me to watch a video, then just read a post. So many video bloggers just ramble and ramble. If I'm reading, I can skim over the stuff I don't want, and just get to the good stuff.

Re: You Don’t Have To Be The Next Big Thing

I can understand building a product to fill a need, but what do you mean by "not only creating a product, but also create a need". I always thought as an entrepreneur we're here to fill needs.

Re: Lori Drew Indicted In MySpace Suicide Controversy

What is wrong with some people? An adult picking on a 13 year old. Man, how screwed up must her childhood have been. Apart from the horrible loss of a young life, the other downside is how the internet and technology get smeared. People need to realize, that the internet is not the problem, but our culture. It's society that needs to be fixed, not the technology. I read a quote the other day, the the internet is really just a reflection of our culture. If we don't like what we see in the reflection, breaking the mirror won't help.

Re: Hero Marketing

I don't know, I'm a little skeptical. Most major purchasing decisions (ie. big dollars) seem to be made by committee. Or if not by committee, there are at least purchase/contract experts within most big corporations that have to vet any decisions recommended by mid to senior management. How do you make a here out of a whole committee?
