both actually, and a Lucene PHP front end. It's all for this little side project I'm working on. Creating a custom analyzer that tokenizes USPS valid addresses so that I can search for them a little better for this giant business database I have.

You can install Perian and it will make it work. The audio is a Microsoft codec so Flip4Mac makes that part work, but the h264 video codec is encoded a little odd so Mac's decoder doesn't like, but Perian will fix Quicktime so that it can. http://www.perian.org/

It's a Quicktime plugin. Just have to install it. Then Quicktime will play the videos. Not much to it.

Thanks for linking my videos on Seesmic about my iPhone application here.

It's funny to look back on. I though I was being original with the concept, even talking about it publicly a month before 12seconds released their application. My initial reaction was it was a conspiracy since 12seconds people hang out on Seesmic all the time, and so I was sure they must of overheard me talk about my app and released their app first. I was angry because it was so close to the description and technical discriptions and software used that I figured something was foul. :-P

Hehe yes.

Yes. Hehe. That is my outlook now as you know from the Facebook app for Seesmic that I'm building. I'm releasing features as I do them, way before my entire vision for it is even done.

The iPhone app is huge compared to most things and since this just out of passion as a developer and limited to my free time between finding my next job, I don't get to dedicate myself to it fully. :-)

My app in comparison is way more complicated then the 12second app in that it is a full client that works with entire full concept conversation inside of Seesmic (viewing, replying, following, etc) where 12seconds just posts new videos (far easier and quicker to market which only helped full my conspiracy theories) :-)

Yep. It's totally a 3rd party thing. I'm using XMPP to push from Seesmic to Facebook feeds as it happens. You basically login and tie your Seesmic user to Facebook user and I update your feed and profile widgets. It solves an issue with a lot of the Facebook api liking to being more push driven since you can get hits back on the users profile when they view their feed or your widgets/boxes. I'm really excited about XMPP services like this.
