I'd actually prefer if Evan Turner stayed. If the Big Ten is going to regain any respect on a national scale(i.e. Big East, ACC), its star players need to stay around.

I remember Nick Saban saying something to the effect of, 'I love when we play well and win but end badly'.. I didn't enjoy those 13 points slipping away at all, but otherwise, that second half was AMAZING.
Besides Buljan, we absolutely shut them out. The crowd was really raucous too. The airballers, 22 and 14(?), got punished.
High fivin Coach and all the players was awesome too.
Great display, on a national stage nonetheless.

An aside about the moral victory poll: this season is an exception. Normally I wouldn't agree with the idea of moral victories, but it'll keep me sane this season.

You mentioned the UK-UNC game. We should all watch Kentucky because their situation is similar to what IU will be dealing with next year. We'll have talent, we'll have athleticism, but we'll be really, really young and we'll struggle. Kentucky's 08-09 season will likely mirror IU's situation for the remainder of the decade.

After seeing us feebly attempt to rebound against NWSU, I realized that we're really going to struggle against teams with pure athletes like Michigan. Initially I thought we were going to be good enough fundamentally to challenge athletic teams, but now..... Not so much.

I keep telling myself that Tijan Jobe is a scholarship athlete at IU, and I still can't believe it.

Oh and how awesome are our walk-on Carmel guards with matching facemasks?

You're right actually, with his size and athleticism he can fill in well regardless of who he replaces. He's certainly done well in the exhibition games with that role.
