Lots of dreamers here. I like this crowd.

It comes down to three main audiences for me, but maybe the inspired, big-dream story is the same? I feel like the emotional pull for all audiences has a lot of overlap.

- I need to tell a story about my organization so that I can inspire others to teach / work here.
- I need to tell a story about my organization so that I can inspire parents to send their children to our schools.

- I need to tell a story about my organization so that I can inspire more people to donate and advocate for us.

I'm choosing I Have a Dream because I don't just want people to join us/donate -- I want them to be inspired to spread the word. One of my goals is crafting a story that others can easily share or remake for themselves to amplify my efforts.

I'm Steve and I run digital marketing (and more) for KIPP NYC - a network of charter schools in New York City. I'm not a marketer in the sense of trying to get more people to buy pizzas or cellphones, my ultimate job is to show people why KIPP is a great place to teach, send your child, and donate to since my main goals are to help hire teachers, help enroll more students, and support the fundraising team in their efforts. I like to focus on the people here. I'm keen on simple messages and clear calls to action. We use web, print, social, and video to reach our audiences... and sometimes random jazz band performances in the park. Looking forward to the class and discussions.

Been testing the free version and really like it. I think it will be perfect for a freelance project I'm doing for a small design firm business.

Good roundup. I've been using ASANA and have been pretty happy with the free version. Nice connectors to Outlook and Dropbox. Also, the export/print function is really nice when you want to share what's going on with stakeholders, etc.

OPEN + a really good programmer. Companies need to focus more on talent than they do technology. Tech is only as good as the people implementing it.

summed up quite well. was just discussing today the loss of the "hover" interaction with mobile. users expect everything to be tappable and take them somewhere. i think that'll only improve/streamline design.

Your themes are awesome. One need I'm noticing in working with a few friends in getting their portfolios live, is an integration with PayPal. Your themes highlight galleries very well, but it'd be nice to take that step forward and add on a Store layer for people to purchase select prints. So some Stote/Galleria hybrid would be great.

Stallman goes on a lot about "freedom" but that should also include the "freedom" to use the service or software of your choice if it makes your life/workflow more convenient and more practical. We do, however, need to make much clearer to users what's at stake when they use certain services. I appreciate his absolutist stance, but I'll be sticking with my gmail account and others.

I think Ning can be a good solution for some sites/teams... but, they should probably get on board themselves and run their company blog using Ning instead of WordPress (but who can blame them).
