not entirely true. Facebook has no other use than itself so it's common to leave the tab open where as g+ uses the black bar so one can switch from search to gmail to docs to G+. this is entirely true for everyone in my peer group....100%

hi prusoms , thanks for you comment. you're right, they do look like exploded space invaders. in fact there is a limited edition knit scarf made by Lendorff.Kaywa that has both space invaders graphics and a QR code:) http://www.officelendorff.c...

from a mobbit's marketing perspective, you can encode a text message with your mobile name and number in a QR code to print on your receipts, bags, stickers, graffiti stencils, scarves etc.

a customer with a camera phone can then scan the barcode and their SMS screen will open ready to send a text message to your mobbits account. they don't have to remember to "text PIZZA to 83434" as the info will be preloaded.

another marketing idea is to hide secret messages, like online coupon codes and URL's.

QR code technology currently supports:
text, V-cards, ME-cards, URL's, telephone numbers, email address and more.

the customer's mobile phone will open the proper application to handle the data that you choose to encode.
