Liz Lambert and her vision have been an inspiration for me ever since I worked as "the IT Guy" at the San Jose Hotel and I've gone on to create a "Small Home Village" with airstreams, avions, and tent house about half an hour east of Austin.

Happy Birthday, you have some fine thoughts and an interesting path from materialistic, drinker/consumer to a more thoughtful vegan. In many ways my path is the opposite from 20 years of being a relatively poor vegetarian living in a schoolbus to the present day, where I have a pretty decent real estate portfolio in booming Austin Texas, lots of computers and tech toys, drones, and renters who live around me who not only pay me regularly but give me great joy. I am trying to build wealth without sacrificing my core values and without distancing myself from my clients and customers. I don't know why but this strategy seems to be working. Have a great day in PR!

Tim Costello, one of the speakers on this panel, might just be Austin's most enlightened CEO. He's built a truly amazing company that has creative ideas and cares about it's employees health and well being. Everything Tim and his colleagues at New Home Source does is cutting edge. This group leads the housing industry in recognition and new ideas. A "must vote".

Kyle is passionate about Google Glass in surgery and healthcare and he has a solid back both in technology and in the health care industry. And he's a great speaker! This will be an excellent panel at SXSW!

This is why we have one foot in Austin (our condo) and one foot in Bastrop (our Spring.net Lodge); part of me wants to see the tech scene explore and part of me longs for the old days of the 80s. So we're bringing the 80s back to life in Cedar Creek and we're drag racing like hell with the millenials and Ygeners in Austin.
