One thing I did like is that, not only does it sync with your Google contacts, but also your MobileMe account (and a load more).

It's also VERY quick. I left myself a voicemail, and before I had chance to actually check my email, it had arrived (hooray for push!).

Re: Operators offering SIM only data deals

We get our data sims from Vodafone - it's the £15 per month deal. If you don't take the dongle, they credit your account with £150.

Re: iPhones like Facebook

Got a source for these numbers?

Re: iTunes m4p to mp3 converter/ripper?

Make sure that iTunes is set to "import" as MP3 (in the preferences, under Import settings). Then, right click on the track and choose "Create MP3 version".

Sorted.

Re: What do you use for version / source control?

At GoSpoken, we're using http://beanstalkapp.com for hosted Subversion. Highly recommended!

Take a look at Git too - it offers a lot more than SVN, and can be used in conjunction with it too.

Re: N95 8GB: Phone start-up failed. Worked fine for me when my N95 refused to boot, and only took 20 minutes!

Re: Help! You can't have background apps - when the phone app is launched, your voice recording app would be forced to quit, and then started again after the call has ended.

Point 11, I think, is an iPhone thing. Developers can't disable or suppress them, but they may be able to pause the game if one appears - not 100% on that though.

I agree with almost every single one of your points though.
