If/when I find the time, I might do a separate branch and use composer to do the build. If I do, I'll update the post or maybe do a new post.

Re: Site Picks

It would be interesting to see a difference between memcache and redis using the same kind of metrics.

Re: Transparency of things

Thanks for reminding us about the importance of transparency and that agile development is nothing without it. This is regardless of how many people are working on it. Even with only one developer, we create a sprint backlog if a project is over a week in length. If a project is over a month, we build a product backlog so we can choose what will be in the sprints.

Projects need to be managed anyway you look at it, so if you manage it with a sprint backlog then you're simply maintaining a to-do list (albeit with more features) which you should be doing anyway.

Re: Matthew Loberg - Installing Memcache On Arch

Thank you Matthew! I am a middle class liberal white American male (damned labels, eh?), and I've always cringed at American sentimentality/banality AND yet still feel like a spoiled prick.

Until now, I'd thought the movie 'The Constant Gardener' was a fine representation of how the rich white civil servants are agents of multinational corporations exploiting the vulnerable. It took me on one of my favourite journeys of paranoia, disgust with 'the system' and heroic martyrdom. Thank you for pointing out what we all know and should never forget - the solution to such big issues can never be summarised in a 30 minute video or a 90+ minute Oscar winner.

I would also add that having 12-24 hours of non-stop celebrities and favourite bands playing live on TV has also proven ineffectual.

I applaud you for the phrase 'The White Savior Industrial Complex' - did you coin it? And also making the call to action one of 'due diligence'.

Re: Use Linux Deepin Screenshot Tool "Deepin Scrot" In Other Linux Distributions

Any reason I should switch from Shutter?
