It has been my experience, while in school, that business school majors do really cheat the most. Its a behavior that is made easier because all the students usually take the same tests on the same days, and the test comes from the department and not the individual teacher.

I don't know about that. An appointment to the senate is an appointment to the senate. If I knew I wasn't corrupt, and that everything would check out I would certainly accept the position. Having being caught in the act, I think Blago decided to make an appointment, without trying to make "good" on it.

Well if Reid had enough political clout he could seat him, and then vote to expel him. The courts have previously ruled that the Senate can't add any additional requirements for being a member of congress, ie not admitting the appointee because he was pick by the disgraced governor, however it is not unconstitutional to remove said member after they have been seated.

Its safe to wager that Reid knows this and this is not so much posturing, but a warning shot.

OMG....he's fighting back?

I'm pretty sure this is the Obama camp showing that they intend to fight back instead of sitting back and taking it like Gore and Kerry. Furthermore, the public really does need to know about this connection. It exemplifies the fact that McCain will do whatever is in his best interest.

Umm...by my account she was right. I know this had its starts under the Clinton Administration, but hasn't it been the Republicans pushing the deregulation, that we now know was a very bad idea?

Could you link to the ruling? I'd love to read this nonsense for myself. I can't see how making sure the meat is safe is an unfair burden on the other companies. I mean hell wouldn't they want safer meat to insure the health of their hopefully returning customers?

I"m not moved by arguments that suggest that Obama is what we all know him to be, a politician. So by definition I expect him to be shrewd and heavy-handed when trying to seek power. His opponents were out maneuvered, just like Hilliary and the other potentials in the primaries.
