I've noticed that Last.fm's scrobbling notification never seems to go away. No other problems here, but I sure do miss the clipboard history feature that we had in Froyo :(

Alive.. the vet needed to look in Crashy's mouth, but every time he tried, the knives came out and Crash started screaming and spitting like a bobcat. So, the vet brought in The Box, grabbed Crash in a thick blanket, wrangled him into The Box, and then pumped gas into The Box to knock him out. Po lil guy!

I'm all for upgrades, but I'm kinda sad that all of the latest BlackBerry IM apps weigh in at ~2MB or higher. Surely they could share some code or combine them all into a single multi-protocol messenger?

hell yes I love where I live! Moving out to rural southwestern New Mexico 3.5 years ago, from pre-Katrina New Orleans, has probably been the high point of my adult life. The peace and quiet and vasty nothingness of the high desert are exactly what my weary nerves had been craving for many years :)

I've got to agree with you on this one.. I recently joined Facebook after they rolled out their dev platform, and I've been nothing less than impressed! The clean layout of the site, and the undeniable utility of the services they offer are the selling points for me.

I also recently joined MySpace, and after three weeks of spam and layouts that make me want to gouge my eyes out, I'm trying to get out. If only they would send that cancellation confirmation they keep promising :/

So.... how does Xanga stack up against these two? :)

I wouldn't worry about the Xanga layouts ecosystem... although they're not actively promoting it, the new themes system has a pure-CSS 'advanced mode', so the lay0utz d00dz will still be able to make themes and host the code externally. Worst case is that they'll need to improve their CSS chops, but that's a good thing.

I'll agree that Picasa Web Albums doesn't hold a candle to Flickr, but in their defense, you're not entirely dependent on the Picasa desktop software.

Google's got an API to let you upload and access your photos, which has already been implemented in F-Spot, the photo management software included in Ubuntu Linux and other Gnome-centric Linux distributions.

But yeah, I still use Flickr :)
