not sure, works fine on mine, I just tried it again. Are you sure you have the MySQL odbc stuff all installed correctly?

not sure, is there an ODBC driver? then you can use it as source connection.

bahh, 2003 stinks, especially for browsing olap pivot tables. Plus the limits are raised in 2007, doesn't even compare to 2003

seems like the sharing feature in Google Reader is something like you talk about. I think the concept of a "personal" river from the feeds you subscribe to is another thing missing. I subscribe to 350 feeds, why can't google reader (or whoever) find the cream of the crop and show it to me in a newspaper format. FeedDemon kind of has this feature. Take that and then run it on everyone's subscriptions.

Tracking You
Another question I get is how to get the equivalent of the Replies tab (@replies to you, especially from people you don't follow) over SMS. The work-around for this (for some people) is just to Track your name. E.g., I send 'track ev' and get a message every time someone mentions @ev. This is not ideal, because Track currently ignores the "@" symbol, so if you have username that is common, you'll get lots of irrelevant stuff. We plan to fix that. (Also, yes, we will get the replies tab on m.twitter.com. Soon.)

I think hosting and all that isnt an issue, what is the issue is getting a SMS Short Code so you can text in tweets on your own. At around 5k a year (last I checked) it kind of puts it out of most price ranges...That is what is good about twitter, you can piggyback on their SMS Short Code, and build apps around it..
