Amazon Web Services is a pay-as-you-go service and has no long term contracts. The closest service that comes to such a thing is the concept of reserved instances for the ec2 virtual machine service. Even with that, you can cancel at any time without penalty.

This course says that it is a deep dive but it couldn't be more high level. You race through everything super fast with no real context. This is not a good course for someone who is looking for deeper information in a walk through beginning to end fashion.

This is really horrible reporting! Who actually wrote the story? That's not a technical issue. What was the technical issue that allowed the story to be published? I really hate it when companies blame people issues on technology.

Sounds like the sources are broken or stored someplace else. You could possibly fix it with:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:E:\sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess

Make sure that your Windows 10 ISO is mounted on E before running.

Hi Abdul,

Is this working better in the most recent update? You will probably need to completely uninstall your existing version and then delete the Bozteck folder under program files. You won't lose any data by doing this.

At that point, install the latest version. Then it should work for you.

There is a Crome browser for RT. Many mistruths and outright lies in this piece. This reads like a very slanted slander slam on Microsoft and not real journalism to say the least. Typical for CNN. Yes, RT was poorly implemented at first and that gave it a very bad name ... and everyone knows that the media LOVES Apple so ... there's that.

Now for the REAL angle ... Microsoft released RT as an attempt to make a tablet version of Windows much like they have for almost a decade with previous versions. This one just happened to be the most successful of them all so the low information media is only aware of this take. There were others ... Windows CE, Windows XP Tablet edition, Windows 7 tablet edition.

@DavidGoldmanCNN claims this to be one of their biggest flops ever when in reality, it's absolutely the most successful attempt at the tablet market that Microsoft has ever made in their history and is going to live on as a part of future operating systems released. Microsoft knowingly took a loss on this attempt because of the new ecosystem and technologies that this INVESTMENT would lend to the future of the tablet market (and their own bottom line once the hardware caught up).

Microsoft is consolidating their operating systems with 9, not because of any failure of the Surface to sell, but because the hardware has finally caught up enough to run the Pro versions with the desired speed, affordability, and efficiency that meet their standards. The time has come for this to happen and it will now happen. It's a natural evolution.

It's funny that nobody complained Apple releasing an "RT" version of their OSX that didn't run desktop apps. Why'? Because Apple has people like @DavidGoldmanCNN in their corner pocket.

One huge omission still holding me back from Windows 8.1 is the lack of "voice everywhere". On the iPhone and Android devices, the mic for dictation is right on the standard keyboard. Not so with the Windows phone.

Duh? Microsoft offers a full spectrum of products and services covering the home, entertainment, devices, and the the enterprise with support for thousands of third party configurations. Apple makes products that target home users only (enterprise is just an after thought) and really only need to work on Apple designed hardware.
