I understand that. We rarely go to bars ourselves. Pubs near our house that we can walk to, for ONE beer and some food, that's one thing. But I'm losing my gumption to go out to the bar every Friday night.

My favorite times that I've spent at gay watering holes are when the bartender intentionally made life difficult for people like that making asses of themselves -- carding everybody, and going as slowly as possible pouring very weak drinks as subtle hints to GTFO.

Just as an FYI, and I say this as an enthusiastic supporter of the ACA -- I recently had one month on a Humana plan from the federal insurance market place in between jobs -- which was great, but out of curiosity, I looked it up, and the prescription coverage did NOT include Truvada. I'm back on Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Express Scripts, which do cover it.

At my next physical, I plan to talk about PrEP with my doctor. And if I do pursue it, condoms are definitely part of the mix, every. single. time.
