A good idea. We are evaluating incoming feeds to see what the optimal rate limit would be. And yeah, a throttling feature will be used in the future, but due to some immediate concerns, we had to act fast on getting an arbitrary rate limit up for now.

We'll keep everyone posted.

We're talking about per minute here. 60 seconds. Twitter takes longer to load than that. You post 3, wait 10 seconds, post 3 more, wait 10 seconds.

This is the most logical number we have decided on with our current volume. I don't think that's unreasonable at all. It's better than our first idea, which was 10 an hour.

A 2MB is in limit for now seeing as we are focusing on mainly mobile
devices. We will mature this limit as we continue to build up the service.
