the 10MB/video upload cap is still in place. I too have asked for it to be raised, 50MB please ShoZu

j/k ok, i'll pay shozu! i figure either they owe me since i have evangelized their app endlessly and uploaded 28000 photos with it
OR i owe them :-) either way 5 euros is nothing agreed! i used to help run Bryght hosting and I know how much those servers must cost!

So where do i pay :-) and how about 10 euros for just ninja-less :-) uploading functionality

i can't imagine s60 without shozu
on my iphone however i do use pixelpipe

That's the problem in a nutshell. People won't bother because they won't use the challenging Ovi Ui on their mobile nor on their Windows or Mac or Linux computer.

i agree, Nokia could pull it off in India or elsewhere but as Ewan says, Nokia have shown no ability to deliver a compelling service. Compelling hardware yes but other than viNes/sports tracker (which unfortunately is only compelling to early adopters), no compelling services.

i did a little digging and AFAIK data only 3G plans are NOT available for phones only for USB 3G modems sticks and things like that

so it's impossible to do what's advocated in this post unless you are rich, namely:
"Switch your high-end bell/telus/Rogers 3G plan to a data-only plan to keep your shiny smart phone applications humming "

love to be proven wrong!

go phone snob go ! seriously it's just like 1996 with camera phones . At least in Canada and the USA it's like 1996 because people are using 1 megapixel cameraphones (or 2 megapixel iPhones) which take really bad pictures most of the time. Unlike the N95 5 megapixel which takes good pictures a lot more of the time!
(i was just recently in heathrow and helsinki and was amazed at the number of N95s around, there are basically zero N95s comparatively in Toronto, Vancouver and their airports!
