I feel horrible for saying this and question if I'm some kind of a psychopath for it but I don't feel sorry for them. DId they have authentication? Why was it listening on a public interface? Firewall rules could have been set up to prevent unauthorized access...but authentication should be needed. I hope this company goes bankrupt over this.

Actually unless you use prepared statements, you can still write code vulnerable to sql injection using mysqli and pdo. You MUST limit the character set to UTF-8.

Nice idea however a few comments:

- Why do I need to auth with my FB and then auth with my Spotify -- just auth with ONE...and then allow me to sync my Rdio account...the double login is a bit...weird.

A group myself and 2 friends are thinking of establishing an LLC...question is, is an LLC a mistake...if we later need investors can we re-incorporate when and if an investor wants shares? Our company could organically grow but having the option to offer shares is also valuable...what should we do?
