Obviously, they wanted to push Facebook Connect.

I think that we are seeing all of these identity platforms emerge but what we need is one open-source one. Think about it, we have:
- Google FriendConnect
- Facebook Connect
- MySpace Data availability (or whatever it's officially called)
- Twitter sign-on
- Open-ID
- Disqus
- IntenseDebate
- Google account

Did I miss anything? We need one, not all of these. And one that is open-source and not proprietary. If you ask me, I'd say it's between Google FriendConnect and OpenID.

Re: Facebook Embraces OpenID; Login With Gmail

so would this mean i can login to all those facebook connect sites with my Gmail credentials ? would be a great idea if google connect and facebook connect merged somehow

Re: Ping.fm / Blog / Facebook Pages, Grooveshark & Metadata

great all i need now is Grooveshark sharing WITHIN grooveshark :S hate i have to come and find the song AGAIN on your site.

Re: Josiah's Blog - Seesmic Desktop VS Twhirl

I hope we don't too.

Re: Josiah's Blog - Seesmic Desktop VS Twhirl

Personaly i MUCH prefer Twhirl Hope we dont fully loose it :s

Re: Josiah's Blog - “ur caps r on, btw” Shaq responds to Oprah via...

well ild be annoyed lol its like a kid with a new toy or a old person learning how to use a computer LOL silly opera what a rookie mistake

Re: Ping.fm / Blog / Skype, Intl.
