It still all seems a little suspect as a Blyk user I have not had a brand message for months. Are Blyk saying that as a MVNO the business is not sustainable? For me the answer is yes. This is why they are turning to the larger MNO's to bring the model to their plans. Now I am convinced this is where it will work. What will happen to the Blyk's core asset now? Will we be told to leave or will we be offered a plan on another network?

Re: Virgin Trains: Free Wi-Fi (except on mobile devices)

it is only free for 1st class passengers

Re: Mobile Networks and Engagement on Twitter

http://twitter.com/o2/status/1763668505
O2 has since changed its name but yes you are correct TRMP is read by o2!

Re: Virgin Trains: Free Wi-Fi (except on mobile devices)

Ahh that is a good idea, I must see if they have a 5th edition. Where else can you actually engage in a dialogue with your customer? In fact scrap that how do you reach the 16 - 24 market? Let's think they very rarely watch TV and if they do you can bet it is on demand or downloaded. Online maybe, I wonder how many of those use pop up blockers or simply do not react to online advertising? Remember these guys are the online generation. The easiest way to reach them is through their mobile something they carry all the time. If it is permission base advertising then their is no issue.

Where else can you send me your next tv advert? and you can get feedback from me by sms. or where you can give me a small review of the latest film and the whack me 2 4 1 voucher? I think that would be 100% more effective then Orange Wednesdays. Orange Wednesdays requires the user to do the work.

The Blyk model is not niche at all and we are starting to see the larger MVNO's starting to take notice of the model. T Mobile have started something very similar in Czech Republic and former Blyk CEO is now at o2. I wonder what he is doing there? ;)

Trust me I think the return on investment from a Blyk Campaign will be extreamly high because the users of Blyk do not see the adverts as adverts.

Oh and just in case you are wondering if I am Blyk Spokesman? Nope I am your typical Blyk user.

Re: Something new, really soon.

Very Interesting! ;)

Re: The Really Mobile Project

It is interesting aint it! ;)

Re: Mobile Industry Review goes subscription-only from 30th March

nice to see you managed to get the free data! :D

Re: Exclusive Video: Visiarc’s “Mobile Documents” for Nokia

WOW!
