Richard Giles is the CEO of Recommendation Ventures, which provides a recommendation platform via a web service to any web sites.Richard has been in the technology industry for over 15 years, and was an Australian web pioneer in the early-nineties designing corporate websites in 1994. He later worked for Sun Microsystems for nine years, and has since authored two books, won
awards for podcasts, consulted, and spoken to a variety of organizations about the emerging Internet.
Richard's achievements include winning the Best Australian Podcast of the Year 2006, authoring Podcasting Pocket Guide, and How To Use Flickr: The Digital Photography Revolution, and launching the Scouta web site.
Richard is currently on the committee for the Australian Web Industry.
