I don't own a car so I'm both a serious bicyclist and pedestrian (I live and work downtown). I'm a stickler to obeying traffic laws while on my bike, yet I've been hit three times by poor, ignorant drivers (no injuries, thank goodness). But...there are lots of bad bicyclists, too.
