They're mad because Apple decided to ship an unfinished, severely lacking version of Maps for other countries. Maps are their most promoted feature of iOS, and they demoed US and a few other major countries, but their data in the other countries and cities is a complete joke.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Of course, we don't know if it was Google who wasn't ready to renew their license with Apple on agreeable terms, but we also don't know if Apple's being arrogant here.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In any case, they could've just shipped this with a Beta tag and there'd have been slightly less outrage.
