I am a paying Pipedrive customer and love it (disclaimer given what I am about to say!): I don't get this. I currently use and love vyte.in for mtg scheduling (it's a lot like Calendly) So why do I need to create recurring events? Can I just select times I am open barring anything else on my schedule and let them choose? The notion of creating an event BEFORE an event is scheduled seems backwards. The event creation should be when the contact chooses a time slot. Am I missing something?

technically, both are correct depending on context: simply calling someone an idiot is an insult. if you are doing it instead of attacking their argument (presuming you are engaged in one) then it is ad hominem. No? (see Max's comment above) I suppose max was debating whether "idiot" was used ad hominem or just good old fun insulting.

This series has been a boon to our business. The very concept of reporting in marketing is so misunderstood so if, like us, you sell a reporting automation product and customers (agencies) are still using words like "dashboard" then series like this go a long way to educate them. Thank you.

I guess we should close this thread out because that was not my intention. Idid not come here to troll. nor insult. nor convert. Nor have I called anyone "wrong" (by your definition it seems that if if I present another side to something I am calling them wrong and being a trolling asshole masking it in polite language (doesn't that apply to all debates on threads then? There's a lot I don't know other than the notion that hostility here is probably not necessary.

Not at all, Clint. I am not preaching anything. Honest. We're just having a discussion. Making points on both side. Treating each other with respect. No one is trying to convert anyone to anything. I think some of the points I made we decent and others were pretty poorly worded as to be darn ineffectual. I would suggest that most of the people here would agree I have treated everyone here with respect. For reasons I can't figure out, you think otherwise.

You're a more literal reader of the Bible than I am :-) Seriously, you want to take every word at face value. You're not even reading it in the original language yet you are of with accepting the language carte blanch. That's not even intellectually honest. Move mountains is clearly a metaphor. Genesis 1 is clearly a Hebrew poem written in poetic style (yes, that renders all the young earthers wrong as wrong can be) Anyway "Ask and it will be given to you" requires knowing what "it" is and even if what you are given is an answer that you even understand. But, hey, if you deny the existence of God (that's cool) then why on earth even bother with this book in the first place?

There are tons of places (like most of Paul's letters) that back up that position. Also - everyone wants to make huge parts of the Bible into some sort of history book or a science book. It's not really either. I happen to think, as do most scholars, that it explains human behavior better than most things. I don't have to bend it to match reality at all (and I am not some racist, woman hating right wing jerk either. Bu I understand your frustration. I do.
