However, I've been waiting for a year for a Twitter application that can mass unfollow those who have the terms "white teeth", "car insurance" or "get more followers" in their profile. That would be a killer app.

Re: Phoenix Real Estate Guy wins Inman Most Innovative Blog Award

Will always remember sitting next to you Jay when Brad Inman announced you...

Re: Conferences

Exactly, my point

Re: Conferences

So quick question: How do disruptor gain supporters-

In my short experience on this earth- disrupting is not a cool thing to do and is something likely to get you shunned.

Re: Conferences

Conferences do support the status quo, and the disrupters don't get attention from the entrenched players. Most of what I hear at conferences is old music. I'm pleased that today's social media channels create a virtual playing field that allow people with shared business interests to be able to discover each other.

Re: Microsyntax.org: A Messifesto

We've been working on adhoc tag systems for hyperlocal city sites to aggregate by city location / category (#shopping, #events, #jobs, etc) that we've seen used in common sense fashion. As Twitter penetrates locally and used for local advertising, these tags will serve commercial purposes to catalogue local merchants' advertising into a timeline so the consumer can search for local deals categorically. Twitter will replace local circulars and Penny Savers.

Re: First Look: Ustream.tv Application for iPhone

iPhone video usage is a killer app with little device competition. Hyperlocal sites will understand that embracing the real estate community, many of whom already participate in the social media for marketing purposes, will help build and maintain a local presence.

Re: Can You Build An Enterprise Only Web App?

Since employees have essentially adopted their social media applications, why fight the upstream battle to train and force participation on a proprietary enterprise social system? It's easier for employees, old and new, to use familiar apps... Yammer fits this bill because it works like Twitter. Solutions have already been proposed to cobble together a free-source Yammer: http://www.chrisbrogan.com/twhirl-makes-yammer-...

The enterprise's most workable option is to maintain two knowledge management systems - one internal and one external. Eventually Enterprise 2.0 will be forced to accept the "outsourcing" of their employee knowledge management systems to Twitter/Yammer, del.icio.us and google reader shared items. At least it won't cost enterprise software bucks. http://mediatransparent.com/2008/09/10/barriers...

Re: Stand Out Marketing

Love that advertising quote Bill, someone has to say this because media sure doesn't want to

Re: TRANSPARENT REAL ESTATE (www.TransparentRE.com): Marketing message for buyer's agents

Testing disqus here

Re: Reading about Real Estate 2.0 is not Good Enough

Disqus seems like a great comment tool.
