Dear Tekh, unfortunately i see nothing new in this issue. What happened is, of course, due to some man's stupidity. There are plenty of silly people that only act to ruin the genius of some other people. I had several problems with other "thememakers" making clones of my themes, thieves selling my free themes, pirates cracking my premium themes, idiots that ripped, lastly, my new premium theme "pulsar" to release it under their name, and now there's even a "thememaker" who spend his time only to make clones of my works (he releases the themes with the same name as mines). All this disappointing behaviours are, unfortunately, supported by many people, that spend their time on pirate forums, mostly of them coming from east asia where copyright law seem not to have any value.

Finally, I don't think that doing premium themes only will help, as the downloads of "fake" themes would then increase. The only one who could help us is Nokia, by providing a new encryption technology on theme files, to avoid extracting the images. But unfortunately this will not happen.

It's sad but i think we cannot do anything to avoid those stupid people who want to become a web superstar, but totally lacking of creativity and imagination.

A last note: Themes, and all the components and images exctracted from them, are subjected to intellectual property (copyright) laws of United States of America, European Union and/or other local laws. So extracting or ripping images from a theme is illegal, and making profit from them (even indirect profit, for example with text-ads on websites or forums) is a crime, that can lead to prison in some countries.

I'll try to explain one more time the problem with the E71.

Unfortunately, Nokia made two s60 phones, the E71 and the E66 with unique UI
features, that are different from every other 3rd edition phone.

This mean that I could make themes fully compatible with the E71 and E66,
only by using the apposite plugin from Nokia, but this would mean making a
special version of each theme I make, only for those 2 phones, and the E71,
moreover, has dozens of little special components that take very long to
design.

So, regarding the widget, you can't compare the things. To make a theme
compatible with the E71 would mean spend many hours on each theme I publish,
not 30 seconds!

The problem is that the time for making themes is currently limited for me,
because of my work and because i'm still a student, and i'm sorry if i
can't make the right version for E71. I know this is a big issue, but I
wish people could just understand that I'm a human, with limited free time,
my day is already filled of things to do, and to publish my themes I often
stay up until late night to finish them, and to keep the quality up to my
best standards.

The good news is that i'm planning to do one special theme, to be released
in the next months, made using users suggestions, and it will be surely
compatible also with the E71. And probably, there will be a small number of
my most downloaded theme that will be re-made for E71 and E66.

I used to change the folder icons some time ago on fp2, but I lost the older icons.xml and still did not fin the time to compile the list again in carbide. That's the only reason for folders icons missing one some phones.

Hi Sky, I took your icons from the well known forum, so I mentioned you only by your username, I wanted to point to a website, but don't know if you have any!

I used your icons because they are wery well made, the best touch icons so far. I only changed some icons with some of mine. Thank you for sharing your work.

if you look better, you will see that all themes have both s60v5 AND s60v3
version.

on the latest version of 5800, I had to deinstall all your themes, the tabs did not work with contacts and other apps.

Could you correct this small bug ?

Hi again, did you found solution for this problem?
I've found that Dhanusaud's BlackV2 theme is working normally on 20'th firmware. It's the only theme I know that works ok, all other are affected by this bug... May be you can contact with him and discuss possible ways of bug-fixing?

Ciao gnokkia, i temi per 5800 sono un casino da fare. Il problema dei tabs
si è presentato con il nuovo firmware, in pratica danno problemi tutti i
temi che hanno tabs trasparenti come i miei... è un disastro!

Ok allora va bene così, oppure magari si potrebbe fare in una tonalità di grigio, ma forse con le cose a cui è collegato ci sta male, purtroppo non me ne intendo quindi...
Per il secondo problema ho notato anch'io, con altre screen trovate in giro, appena mi sarà possibile aggiornerò il firmware, grazie! :-)

riguardo al primo problema: svista mia, ma il colore del testo bianco è legato ad altre cose. Se lo cambio e lo metto blu, mi diventa blu anche un altro tipo di testo che mi serve bianco!

secondo problema: è un bug del firmware del Nokia 5800. Ora il problema è risolto con l'aggiornamento al firmware v20. Col nuovo firm tutte quelle finestre popup diventano grige trasparenti, e io non posso modificarle, comunque sempre meglio un grigio neutro che rosso!
